Southern Methodist University encourages all students, faculty, and staff to register to vote and to participate in local and national elections. Local registration and voting information is available from the Dallas County Elections Department.

The Federal Election Assistance Commission provides the National Mail Voter's Registration Form. The site includes general election information, as well as the registration requirements of individual states. Adobe Acrobat Reader, which can be downloaded for free, is required to print a copy of the form.
