Quick connect Guides are helpful tools which allow students to easily match their transfer course work with requirements at SMU. Quick Connects provide information on admission procedures and requirements, academic programs, and course conversions. Look for more guides to be added to this site soon.


General Education Curriculum (GEC)

Note:  These General Education Curriculum guides are for the use of students transferring to SMU with 30 or more hours prior to the fall 2014 semester.  First-year students entering in fall 2012 and after, and first-year transfer students entering in spring 2013 and after, should NOT use these guides as they will follow the new University Curriculum.


University Curriculum (UC)

Note: These University Curriculum guides are for the use of first-year transfers (students with 30 or fewer hours) beginning in spring 2013 or students transferring to SMU in fall 2014 or after.
