The text of this book can be downloaded as a single compressed file to readers' personal computers for electronic searching, for example by the Windows 95 or 98 FIND program. Readers should decompress the file in a separate subdirectory because several hundred page-files will be created.

Searching with the FIND program

If using the Windows 95 or 98 FIND program (select: Start/Find/Files or Folders), first select "Browse" and the above subdirectory containing the book's page-files, then select the tab "Advanced" and type in the word or phrase to be located. The FIND program will list all filenames containing the target word or phrase. Simply double-click on a listed filename to open your browser to view the page. To see the next file found, leave the browser open, restore the FIND program (click on its name on the Task Bar), and double-click on the next listed filename.
