The first event in the "Worlds of Islam" series, this lecture explored the complex history of Muslim-Christian relations in Medieval Spain, emphasizing the factors that brought about the successfully pluralistic societies of Muslim and Christian Spain and those that led to the final breakdown of co-existence between the cultures.
