Ruth Ann Elmore is an SMU alumna, and received both a BFA in  Studio Art and a BA in Art History.  Before beginning at the Clements Center in 2002, she worked with various art galleries and artists,  later in public and private community organizations, handling publicity and media relations.  In addition to her work at the Clements Center, Ruth Ann is pursuing her MA in art history.  Her research focuses on the painting "Conversation Sky and Earth" by the American Precisionist Charles Sheeler (1883-1965), which is located in the collections of the Amon Carter Museum.
