Brown Bag Speaker Series
During the semester the Clements Center organizes monthly programs called the Monthly Brown Bag Series for SMU faculty, staff, graduate students, and members of the community who are interested in topics related to the Southwest.  Presentations are wide-ranging and interdisciplinary, often reporting on current research, recent publications, or new exhibitions.

Current Events
The Clements Center hosts many different types of during the year including lectures, lecture series, seminars, and symposiums.

William P. Clements Prize for the Best Non-Fiction Book on Southwestern America
Annually, the Clements Center awards the prize for the best non-fiction book on Southwestern America.

Annual Symposia
The Clements Center presents public programming, including our annual symposium.
