		Hispanic-American Senator Kevin McClendon kmcclendon@smu.edu Classification: Junior Hometown: Houston, Texas Major(s): Finance and French Personal Statement: As the Hispanic American Senator I seek to voice the morale of Hispanic-American students on campus, along with their concerns, needs, and wants to the Senate. My goal is to create unity between minority students and the student body, while passing relevant legislation benefitting both groups.

		Asian-American Senator Tien Dang tdang@smu.edu Classification: Freshman Hometown: Sachse, Texas Major(s): Advertising and PR Communications Personal Statement: I aspire to find a way to make each SMU Mustang feel truly at home during their stay here. I would also love to work with others towards strengthening the bonds throughout campus and making SMU a happier, more welcome place to be.

		African-American Senator Ryan Anthony Stoker rstoker@smu.edu Classification: Senior Hometown: Dallas, Texas Major(s): Political Science & Business Administration Personal Statement: As the African-American Senator, I plan to serve as a lucid conductor between Student Senate and the organizations in which I am the liaison. As a Student Senator, I will convey the concerns of the student population and ensure that each organization has a voice in Student Senate.
