NOTE: All First Year students living in on campus will receive a "Resident Edition" of this handbook at check-in which also includes the Community Standards for the residence halls and other helpful housing information.

*These policies are reviewed and revised during the Spring Term by faculty, staff and students. Upon approval of revisions by the President of the University, a new version is printed each summer. The handbooks are then distributed to students prior to the beginning of the Fall Term. Students, faculty and staff may make suggestions for revisions and changes by getting in touch with the SMU Student Senate, located in the Student Activities & Multicultural Student Affairs Office, Hughes-Trigg Student Center Rm. 300, ph 8-4400.
