Welcome to the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs and to the homepage for the Division of Student Affairs at SMU. The Vice President for Student Affairs oversees a network of departments, services, programs and activities focused on providing support for students’ out-of-classroom experiences and co-curricular learning.
The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs also serves as a resource to students and families needing assistance solving a problem or navigating the university. You may use the SMU Round-Up / One-Stop Problem Solving page to contact a university department or to post a question.
SMU has innumerable opportunities for students to: become involved in the life of the university; develop their leadership skills; nurture their “mind, body and spirit”; prepare for careers and for graduate school; understand the responsibilities of living and studying in a university community; and develop life-long friendships with classmates who hail from all over the United States and the world.
