This past academic year we demonstrated our continuing success with online customer service initiatives. For example, over 100,000 unique visitors researched the Career Center website. Also, 20,000+ unique visitors downloaded multiple career center PDF's from our online resources site.

Our 'bricks & mortar' services fared well also: The Fall 10 and Spring 11 career fairs recorded an average of 600 students and 65 employers in attendance per semester during these challenging economic times; Throughout the academic year 442 students were successfully interviewed by 114 companies during the on-campus interview process; Our battery of 60+ workshops and in-class presentations attracted over 2000 students; The Career Development Team completed over 1500 individual career counseling appointments.

From an operational standpoint, we completed many major goals:

  • Established job search training systems with academic partners for specific majors

  • Developed an effective career information delivery system using in-class polling technologies which has returned real-time, outcome-based learning results
  • Published and presented at 4 national and state professional associations
