The Southern Methodist University Staff Association, founded in 1942, provides representation and programming for all SMU staff. It promotes the communication and understanding between staff and the University administration; provides representation for staff on key issues affecting the community; encourages recognition and camaraderie in the SMU community; and provides various social programs and volunteer opportunities for staff throughout the academic year. We welcome you to attend the scheduled events for the 2009-2010 academic year.
A Message from the Staff Association President:
Please plan on joining us for:
A hands-on day of exploring the hidden treasures at SMU that feed the Body, Mind & Soul!
Join your colleagues for this exciting day of learning, living and embracing the benefits SMU has to offer!
Begin your day with a Continental Breakfast and Welcome by Chris Casey, Vice President for Business and Finance. Staff who attended the recent Staff Recognition Ceremony can attest to Chris’ quick wit and insight! There will be sessions to thrill and challenge attendees! Don’t miss out on an opportunity to mingle with staff from across campus during a scrumptious luncheon. The luncheon includes a keynote speaker who’ll share an unknown tidbit of SMU history!
