"Giant" 50th ANNIVERSARY

"Giant" Photos

The late Dallas artist and SMU art professor Ed Bearden -- George Stevens' "Giant" conceptual artist -- went to Marfa during shooting to sketch on the set. His wife, Frances, and John and Claire Rosenfield traveled to West Texas as well.

Warner Bros. photographer Floyd McCarty took the following pictures on the "Giant" set, which appear here courtesy of Frances Bearden. Click on each image for a high-resolution version showing the complete picture. (File sizes are up to 1.5 MB each.)
