Santiago Calatrava and SMU: Videos


'Wave' by artist and architect Santiago Calatrava was dedicated at Southern Methodist University on October 8, 2002.

Santiago Calatrava returned to Dallas and SMU in early March 2012 for the dedication of the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge and a new exhibit at the Meadows Museum, "Calatrava and SMU: A Decade in Motion."

Santiago Calatrava, introduced by SMU President R. Gerald Turner, gave the commencement address at SMU on May 14, 2005. He also received an honorary degree from SMU.

Meadows Museum Director Mark A. Roglán reflected on Calatrava and his work, including Wave, which is at the entrance to the museum.
