Accessing the Campus Community Website
Depending on your version of Internet Explorer, you might see a Password box with three fields that need to be populated or two fields that need to be populated. Below are the instructions for both types of boxes.
Internet Explorer with Windows 95, 98 or 2000 (three fields)
Internet Explorer with Windows XP (two fields)
Internet Explorer with Windows 95, 98 or 2000 Instructions
When the following "Enter Network Password" box appears:
In the User Name field, type SMUID.
In the Password field, type NT password. The password is case-sensitive.
If necessary, in the Domain field, type SMU.
Press <Enter> or click "OK." You should now be accessing the password-protected Web page.

WARNING! If you incorrectly type your NT password 3 times, you will be locked out of the SMU domain and Webmail. Contact the ITS Help Desk at 8-HELP or help@mail.smu.edu to reset your NT password.

In the User Name field, type SMU\SMUID. An example would be SMU\00001234 Make sure to include the BACKWARD slash after typing SMU and before typing your NT login name.
In the Password field, type your NT password. The password is case-sensitive.
Press <Enter> or click "OK." You should now be accessing the password-protected Web page.
