SMU’s undergraduate student/faculty ratio is 12:1. Sixty percent of all undergraduate lecture sections have fewer than 25 students.

Students Requesting a Degree Progress Report
through Access.SMU SA Self-Service

The eDPR is an electronic Degree Progress Report (eDPR) that students can request for
themselves through Access.SMU. The eDPR itself will not appear in Access.SMU. It will
be e-mailed to the student at his/her campus e-mail account.

Processing an eDPR

Once the page loads, it will look like this:

To request your Degree Progress Report, follow these instructions:

Degree Progress Report page
Field Name	What to Do
Academic Institution	Defaults to Southern Methodist University. Leave as is.
Report Type	Defaults to Degree Progress Report.
Go	Click on Go to process the request.

 

 

You will see "Processing" blinking on the upper right side of the screen. When the
processing is complete, you will see the following screen:

Note: If this screen does not appear, the Degree Progress Report has not been sent to
your SMU email account. The process must be repeated to obtain an eDPR.
