What are the Steps in Developing the QEP?
Development of the QEP requires a number of steps. The first is the selection of the QEP topic. This is the stage in which SMU will be engaged during Spring 2009.

The following excerpt from the SACS Handbook on the QEP is a good statement of all the necessary steps.

Steps One through Nine will need to occur before December 1, 2010. (Step Ten is the impact report, which is due 5 years after the accreditation and must assess the impact of the QEP.)
