You are invited to join us for the Ninety-Eighth Opening Convocation to honor the entering students of 2012, on Sunday, August 19.  
 
On the evening of Convocation, the faculty will assemble in academic regalia no later than 5:00 p.m. in the lobby of Perkins Administration. At approximately 5:20 p.m. the faculty will leave the lobby of Perkins Administration and enter McFarlin Auditorium to be seated by faculty marshals. Retired faculty march at the head of the procession followed by current and new faculty.

If you need academic regalia for the ceremony, it will be provided by the SMU Bookstore, compliments of the Office of the Provost. Regalia must be ordered by Friday, August 10. You may send your regalia order to tm526@bncollege.com. Please include your name, height, weight, degree information and institution where degree was earned. Academic regalia may be picked up from the SMU Bookstore the week prior to the ceremony.
