• Emergency Notification - Redundant system utilizing both high-tech and low-tech solutions.

• SMU Police Department   - On duty 24 hours a day; 7 days a week; 365 days a year. Emergencies - 911 or (214)768-3333

• Know What To Do In Emergencies  - In case of emergency, SMU will attempt to communicate with you in a number of ways. Notification may reach you by city sirens, police vehicle speakers, public address systems, bullhorns, test messages, phone calls, building managers or other means
