2008 Taos Retreat


 First-year President's Scholars gathered for their first group photo
 at their SMU-in-Taos retreat over Labor Day weekend.
 At 38, the first-year scholars represent the largest incoming class
 of President's Scholars in the program's history.


President’s Scholars enjoy a field trip at their Taos retreat,
 visiting the Rio Grande Gorge, Martinez Hacienda,
 and Mabel Dodge Luhan house to learn about
the area’s geography, history and culture.
