SMU Assistant Dean for the University Curriculum

Dr. Vicki Hill has been named the Assistant Dean for the University Curriculum effective January 1, 2012. Dr. Hill will work with Professor Dennis Cordell, who oversees the University Curriculum and with the Provost’s Office in ensuring the University Curriculum is infused into the new Residential Life Commons that will be opened on Campus in 2014.

Dr. Hill brings to this position her great understanding of the University Curriculum, having worked on its development, as well as her knowledge, experience, and important contacts she has established across the Campus.

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Hill on this new appointment. For 22 years, she has led the Altshuler Learning Enhancement Center at SMU with remarkable results. The Altshuler Learning Center, under Dr. Hill’s leadership, has gained nationwide attention in helping SMU students achieve success. Many students attribute their success at SMU to Dr. Hill and to her group who have helped them chart their academic path.
