Stephanie Dupaul, Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management

Stephanie Dupaul is the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management for SMU in the Office of the Provost. In this role she will provide strategy and leadership for the University's ongoing commitment to increasing the number and quality of applicants for admission. SMU's director of financial aid, registrar, bursar and dean of admissions all will report to Stephanie in her new role.

She serves on or chairs several committees at SMU, including the Strategic Enrollment Management Group (chair), Orientation and Matriculation subcommittee, Hispanic Leadership Advisory Board, and the Provost’s Minority Enrollment Advisory Group

About Stephanie Dupaul
Prior to her appointment to this new role, Stephanie was the interim Dean of Undergraduate Admission at SMU. She was the Director of Undergraduate Admission for the Cox School of Business, where she achieved dramatic improvement in the academic profile of students entering the Business Administration (B.B.A.) program.

Stephanie has over twenty years of experience in higher education in the areas of undergraduate admission, graduate admission, academic program management, and academic advising at SMU, the University of Dallas, and Brookhaven College. Her academic research focuses on college search behaviors and the marketplace of higher education.

A native Floridian, Stephanie earned a doctorate in higher education administration and leadership at the University of Alabama, a master’s degree in English at SMU, and a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Texas at Austin.
