Faculty Senate

The Faculty Senate of SMU has the responsibility of representing the General Faculty in matters affecting the University as a whole. This responsibility includes fostering the professional development and economic well-being of the faculty. The Senate carries out its responsibilities through legislative, investigative, and advisory powers under the Faculty Senate Constitution.
