Student Appeals and Petitions
At SMU, various policies reflect the SMU community’s collective judgment about the academic, disciplinary, and academic honesty policies and procedures that best serve the interests of students and the overall academic community.
Students sometimes might seek waiver of, deviation from, or appeal of these policies or applications of these policies.
This page gives the links to the procedures for different types of student appeals or complaints.
