The numismatic group,
under the supervision of Michael Thomas, studies the coins found
on Poggio Colla's acropolis. In addition to studying the technical
aspects and historical context of Roman bronze and silver coins,
they are building a data base which documents each coin's weight,
diameter, obverse and reverse images, and die orientation.
