Room Amenities and Equipment


To facilitate your conferencing needs SMU offers a professional environment with

rooms ranging in seating capacity from 10 to 400. These rooms are available days for both large and small businesses. Some examples of rooms and their amenities:

  • Tiered instruction classrooms for up to 60 participants each. Rooms include projection; instructor podium with PC, A/V Technology, and laptop interface; and wireless Internet connectivity.
  • Various flat instruction and meeting spaces capable of a variety of room configurations. Some include instructor podium w/PC technology, most have screens for both ceiling and tabletop projection.
  • A large auditorium style room accommodating large meetings, catered style events, and business style social gatherings. Maximum capacity is 300 depending on type of event.The space has the same technology capabilities as the other meeting rooms in addition to a large capacity sound system.
  • Other resources include phone conferencing capabilities, flip charts, TV/VCR/DVD's, and various other technology items. Please ask about these added resources.
