J Term at SMU-in-Plano is an intensive, fast-paced interterm session that offers undergraduate students opportunities to:

  • Complete one 3 credit hour course before the spring semester
  • Accelerate degree completion or stay on track for graduation
  • Fulfill a GenEd requirement or course prerequisite
  • Work towards a second major or minor
  • Pay a reduced tuition rate per credit hour
