My main research areas are in Epistemology, Logic, and Philosophy of Education. Within epistemology, I am particularly interested in scepticism and recent responses to the sceptical puzzle: epistemological contextualism and subject-sensitive invariantism. I am currently working on a version of subject-sensitive invariantism that utilizes James' concept of alive and dead ideas, instead of explicating the additional condition for knowledge in terms of salience of practical interests of the subject.
My other major research area is in logic, tied mostly to the Liar's paradox. My ambition is to formulate a solution that combines the advantages of two approaches: the view that the Liar is without a truth-value, but explicated in the framework of Tarski's object language/metalanguage distinction.
