To report a crime or violation of University policies and procedures, stop by the SMU Police Department or call (214) 768-3333. Violations of University policies and procedures by students may also be reported to the Dean of Student Life Office.
In order to keep the SMU community informed about safety and security issues, timely warnings are issued on a case-by-case basis.
As an on-going effort, SMU has developed an Emergency Plan. Part of the plan is to inform our community of how to respond in the event of an emergency. Knowing What To Do in an emergency situation will help keep the SMU community safe and secure.
