110713 9:24 AM. Arrest on Warrant/Criminal Trespass Warning: Auxiliary Services/6210 N. Central Expressway. A non affiliated man was arrested on an active warrant and transported to Dallas County jail. Closed.

110715 9:22 AM. Fire Alarm: Cockrell Hall/5905 Ownby Drive. Officers responded to an active fire alarm caused by an activated smoke detector. It was determined the smoke detector was caused by dust from construction workers machinery. Emergency Management was notified and Officers cleared with no further action. Closed.
110716 8:02 PM. Fire Alarm: Gamma Phi Beta/3030 Daniel Avenue. UPFD responded to an active fire alarm caused by electrical power restoring after a power outage. The fire panel was reset and UPFD cleared with no further incident. Closed.
110718 11:51 PM. Fire Alarm: Cockrell Hall/5905 Ownby Drive. UPFD responded to an active fire alarm. UPFD determine it the fire panel was malfunctioning. UPFD reset the fire panel and cleared with no further incident. Closed.

110721 11:26 AM. Fire Alarm: Sigma Phi Epsilon/3050 SMU Blvd. UPFD responded to an active fire alarm. It was determined the fire alarm was caused by dust from construction workers. UPFD reset the fire alarm and cleared with no further incident. Closed.
110722 12:57 PM. Fire Alarm: McElvaney Hall/6000 Bishop Blvd. Officers responded to an activated smoke detector. It was determined it was set off by a deodorant spray . Emergency Management arrived and reset the alarm. Closed.

110723 2:48 AM. Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: Off Campus/6437 Hillcrest Avenue. University Park Police issued a student a citation for underage drinking. The student was referred to the Student Conduct Office. Closed.

JULY 11
110726 12:19 PM. Fire Alarm: Pi Kappa Alpha /3035 Dyer Street. UPFD responded to an active fire alarm. It was determined the smoke detector was activated by dust from construction work in the house. UPFD reset the fire panel and the construction workers were informed to cover up the smoke detectors to prevent activation of smoke detectors. Closed.
JULY 12
110729 2:56 PM. Fire Alarm: Sigma Phi Epsilon/3050 SMU Blvd. UPFD responded to an active fire alarm. The fire alarm was in full alarm with sirens and strobes activated. It was determined the breaker box overheated and this was the cause of the alarm. All electrical power to the building was turned off until an electrician arrived. UPFD cleared with no further incident. Closed.

110731 1:25 PM. Fire Alarm: Gerald J. Ford Stadium/5801 Airline Rd. SMU Police Officer responded to an active fire alarm. No smoke or fire was observed. It was determined it was caused by dust from construction in the men's locker room. Police Officer reset the fire panel with no further incident. Closed.

110734 10:47 PM. Failure to Leave Identification: Meadows Lot 2. A non affiliated person reported some unknown person struck his unoccupied vehicle and failed to leave contact information. Open.
110735 11:46 PM. Fire Alarm: McIntosh Hall/5904 Bishop Blvd. A police officer investigated an active fire alarm. No horns or strobes were activated and the alarm panel was in 'trouble" mode. Police Officer reset the fire panel with no further incident. Closed.

110739 5:48 PM. Theft: Morrison/McGinnis/6001 Bishop. A student reported theft of his bicycle. The theft occurred sometime between 7/15 2:00PM to 7/16 8:00PM. Open.
110740 11:51 PM. Fire Alarm: Cockrell Hall/5905 Ownby Drive. A police officer responded to investigate a trouble alarm which originally came in as a fire alarm. There were no horns or strobes activated. The fire panel was in normal mode. The officer conducted a check with no signs of any smoke or fire. The police officer cleared with no further incident. Closed.

110742 12:27 PM. Criminal Mischief: Airline Parking Garage/6506 Airline Court. A student reported some unknown person caused intentional damage to his vehicle. Open.
110743 3:40 PM. Theft: Morrison Hall Bike Rack/6004 Bishop Blvd. A student reported theft of her bicycle. The theft occurred sometime between 7/15 7:00AM- 7/20 3:30 PM. Open.

110745 9:22 AM. Fire Alarm: Perkins Hall/6004 Hillcrest Avenue. UPFD responded to an active fire alarm caused by an activated smoke detector. UPFD determined it was caused by steam from the showers in the bathroom located on the basement level. UPFD reset the fire alarm and cleared with no further incident. Closed.

110747 5:51 PM. Theft: Smith Hall/6020 Hillcrest Avenue. A summer camp participant reported theft of cash on two different dates. He reported theft of an envelope containing cash on July 10th. He also reported theft of his wallet containing cash on July 21st. Open.

110750 2:30 AM. Fire Alarm: Fincher Building/Cox School/6212 Bishop Blvd. UPFD responded to an active fire alarm. The building was in full alarm with activation of strobes and sirens. The fire panel indicated room 102.. UPFD checked room 102 and id not find any trouble. UPFD checked the building and gave authorization to reset the fire panel. UPFD cleared with no further incident. Closed.

110752 6:34 AM. Fire Alarm: Martin Hall/5912 Hillcrest Avenue. UPFD responded to an active fire alarm. It was determined the fire safety officer was conducting a fire drill and that was the caused of the alarm. Closed.
110754 8:46 AM. Fire Alarm: Pi Kappa Alpha/3035 Dyer Street. Officers responded to an active fire alarm. No sign of smoke or fire was observed. It was determined the smoke detector was activated by dust from men doing repair work. The officer reset the fire panel and cleared with no further incident. Closed.

Police and SMU Police responded to a fight in progress. University Park Police issued citations for disorderly conduct to two female juveniles.

110760 4:31 PM. Theft: Kappa Kappa Gamma/3110 Daniel Avenue. A staff member reported theft of a filing cabinet and a step ladder. The theft occurred between 7/26 2:00PM-7/27 4:00PM. Open.
110761 12:17 AM. Possession of Fictitious License or ID: 6500 Hillcrest Avenue. A non affiliated person was issued a University Park citation for possessing a fake ID. Closed.
JULY 28
110764 11:18 PM. Fire Alarm: McFarlin Auditorium/6405 Boaz Lane. Officers responded to an active fire alarm. No signs of strobes or sirens were observed upon arrival. The fire panel indicated 3rd floor smoke detector activated. Officers checked the area and with no signs of fire or smoke. The fire panel was reset and officers cleared with no further incident. Closed.

110765 9:34 PM. Possession of Marijuana. Morrison/McGinnis Hall. Three students were referred to the Conduct Officer for possessing marijuana. Closed.
JULY 30
110766 3:59 AM. Fire Alarm. Phi Gamma Delta. Officers responded to a fire alarm at this location. The alarm panel indicated a smoke detector was active in one of the the rooms. The room was checked and there was no smoke and no fire. An email was sent to maintenance to have the alarm serviced. Closed.
