110772 4:37 AM. Fire Alarm. Phi Delta Gamma House. Officers responded to a fire alarm at this location. The fire alarm panel said the source for the alarm was in the 1st floor wash room. Officers and UPFD checked the room and the structure and could not locate a reason for the alarm. The alarm panel was reset. Closed.
110773 9:30 AM. Theft. Boaz Hall. A student reported he left his laptop in room at 8:40 AM on 08/01/2011 and when he returned at 10:00 PM, his laptop was gone. The laptop was returned to the police department by another student. Closed.
110776 3:56 PM. Theft. Daniel House. A student reported his bicycle was stolen sometime between 07/24/2011 and 08/02/2011. Open.

110777 11:50 AM. Fire Alarm. Phi Gamma Delta House. The fire alarm was activated and officers and UPFD responded. No cause for the activation could be located. System is malfunctioning. Closed.
AUGUST 4
110778 4:37 AM. Fire Alarm. Moody Parking Garage. Officers responded to a fire alarm at this location. The fire alarm panel indicated a water flow problem on the first floor. A search of the area showed no water flowing from any sources. An email notification was sent to the Fire Safety Manager. Closed.
AUGUST 5
110780 1:08 AM. Criminal Mischief. Meadows Museum Parking Garage. A gate arm was damaged at this location. Open.
110781 8:32 AM. Fire Alarm. Beta Theta Pi House. The fire alarm system was activated by a water flowing in the sprinkler room from a malfunctioning air compressor. Closed.
110782 11:14 AM. Theft. Expressway Tower. A staff member reported theft of a laptop. Open.
110783 3:55 PM. Criminal Mischief. Owens Art Center. A staff member reported she found a suspicious stain on a dress she was making for a play. Closed.

110788 3:47 PM. Criminal Mischief. Owens Art Center. The same staff member from report #110783 reported new stains on the same dress that she laundered. Closed.

110789 1:59 PM. Criminal Mischief. Fondren Science Building. A staff member reported damage to a glass door in a lab. Closed.

110792 2:09 PM. Fire Alarm. Fondren Library. A student accidently activated the fire alarm by exiting through a fire exit door. Closed.
110793 9:41 PM. Possession of Drug Paraphernalia/Warrants. 3000 Block Mockingbird Lane. A non-affiliated individual was arrested and booked into the Dallas County Jail for outstanding felony warrants and possessing a baggie with marijuana residue. Closed.
110794 9:44 PM. Fire Alarm. Dedman Center for Lifetime Sports. The fire alarm was activated by a broken sprinkler head on the racket ball court. UPFD responded and turned off the water flow to the sprinkler system. The fire safety inspector was notified by email. Closed.

110796 12:48 PM. Fire Alarm. Kappa Alpha Theta House. A fire alarm was activated at this location due to construction work. Closed.
110797 1:21 PM. Warrants. 3100 University Blvd. A non-affiliated individual was arrested and booked into the Dallas County Jail for outstanding warrants. He was also issued a "Criminal Trespass Warning". Closed.

110808 2:16 AM. Public Intoxication/Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor/Fictitious ID/Interference with Public Duties: Off Campus/3116 Rosedale. Two student were referred to the Student Conduct Office for being intoxicated in a public palace. One student was issued a University Park citation for identify herself with a fictitious Identification and for underage drinking. Another student was referred to the Student Conduct Office for interfering with public duties. Closed.
110809 1:37 PM. Theft: Cockrell/McIntosh Hall/5904 Bishop Blvd. A student reported theft of her bicycle. The theft occurred sometime between 8/18 - 8/20. Open.
110810 2:44 PM. Theft: Phi Delta Theta House/3072 SMU Blvd. A student who is a member of the house reported theft of a couch. The theft occurred sometime between May- August. Open.

110829 7:07 PM. Burglary of Habitation: Phi Delta Theta House/3072 SMU Blvd. A student who is a member of the house reported theft of a flat screen TV, safe, and other items kept in the Chapter room over the summer. The theft occurred sometime between May 12-August 20, 2011. Open.

110831 10:34 PM. Theft: Main Quad. A student reported theft of her purse containing cash, credit/debit card, SMU ID Card, Florida Driver's License and other items. The purse was recovered and turned in to the police department with all items except for her cash. The theft occurred sometime between 10:17 - 10:34 PM. Open.

110843 6:05 AM. Failure to Evacuate during Fire Alarm: Sigma Alpha Epsilon/3005 Dyer Court. A student was referred to the Student Conduct Office for failure to evacuate during a fire alarm. Closed.

110851 6:14 AM. Failure to Evacuate During a Fire Alarm. PI KAPPA ALPHA (PIKE) House. A student failed to evacuate the house during a fire drill. She will be referred to the Conduct Officer. Closed.
110852 6:21 AM. Failure to Evacuate During a Fire Alarm. PHI GAMMA DELTA (FIJI) House. During a fire drill of the house only 4 people followed instructions to evacuate. Approximately 30 students were still in the house hiding in various places. The house will be referred to the Conduct Officer for failing to evacuate during a fire alarm. Closed.

110861 3:25 PM. Possession of Fictitious License or ID. 3000 Block Binkley Ave. A student's fake ID was found on the bus. She was referred to the Conduct Officer for possessing a fake ID. Closed.
110862 7:23 PM. Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor. Smith Hall. A student was referred to the Conduct Officer for underage drinking. Closed.
110865 10:35 PM. Assault/Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor. Perkins Hall. A student was cited, arrested and booked into the University Park Jail for underage drinking. He was also referred to the Conduct Officer for underage drinking and pushing an RA. Closed.
110866 10:53 PM. Theft. Gerald Ford Stadium/Women's Restroom. A non-affiliated individual left her cell phone in the restroom and when she went to retrieve, it was gone. Open.

110867 2:17 PM. Theft. Beta Theta Pi House. A theft was reported at this location. Open.
AUGUST 29
110870 6:18 AM. Theft. Dedman Center for Lifetime Sports. A theft was reported at this location but the property was located later. Unfounded.
110872 5:16 PM. Theft: 3200 Binkley Avenue. A student reported theft of his bicycle. The student called back to report he found his bicycle secured at a different location and forgot he left it there. Closed.
110873 6:22 PM. Fire Alarm: Service House/3041 Dyer Street. University Park Fire Department responded to an active fire alarm. The fire panel indicated a water flow alarm in the first floor. UPFD determined the water flow was coming from the riser room outside the building. It was determined it was caused by a compressor switch. Allied Fire Services was able to reset the alarm and would respond for repairs. Closed.
AUGUST 30
110875 6:26 AM. Failure to Evacuate: Smith Hall/6020 Hillcrest Avenue. Three students were referred to the Student Conduct Office for not evacuating during an Emergency Evacuation Drill. Closed.
110877 8:15 AM. Fire Alarm: Perkins Hall. An officer responded to an active fire alarm. Upon arrival the officer observed no smoke nor fire and the building was fully evacuated. The fire panel indicated an activated smoke detector in the attic area. University Park Fire arrived and it was determined the smell was from burning cookies in the 3rd level microwave. The panel was reset. Closed.
110879 1:13 PM. Theft: Dedman Life Science Building. A student reported the theft of their cell phone. Open.
110880 1:29 PM. Theft: Main Quad. A student reported the theft of their cell phone. Closed.
110881 2:54 PM. Fire Alarm: Greer Garson Theater. An officer responded to an active fire alarm. No smoke or fire was observed and the building was fully evacuated. It was determined the alarm was activated by an Ottis Elevator employee who was cutting plastic pipes which caused smoke and dust. University Park Fire arrived, checked the area, and reset the fire panel. Closed.

110884 1:44 AM. Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: Bishop Blvd. A student was referred to the Student Conduct Office for consumption of alcohol by a minor.
110885 9:16 AM. Fire Alarm: Chi Omega. An officer responded to an active fire alarm which the panel was indicating it was coming from rooms 8-12. University Park Fire arrived and checked the rooms, room 9 had a faulty smoke detector which the was being fixed. Closed.
110886 1:18 PM. Theft: Virginia Hall. A staff member reported the theft of wooden benches. Open.
110888 3:16 PM. Failure to Leave Identification: Law Parking Garage. A student reported an unknown vehicle damaged the passenger side front door of her vehicle. The unknown person failed to leave their identifying/insurance information in a note on the damaged vehicle. Open.
110889 5:09 PM. Theft: Business School. A student reported the theft of their laptop. The laptop was found and turned in by Aramark the night before and the student was notified. Closed.
110891 11:45 PM. Failure to Leave Identification: Moody Parking Garage. A student reported an unknown vehicle damaged her vehicle. The unknown person failed to leave their identifying/insurance information in a note on the damaged vehicle. Open.
