101101    2:49 AM.    Fire Alarm:    Sigma Alpha Epsilon/3005 Dyer Court.    University Park Fire Department responded to an active fire alarm.  No signs of smoke or fire.  The cause was determined to be an intentional activation of the pull station. The fire panel was reset and UPFD cleared with not further incident.    Closed.

101103    10:42 AM.    Burglary of Habitation:    Phi Delta Theta House/3072 SMU Blvd.    The house mom reported theft of two composites and eight Doak Walker replica awards.    The theft occurred sometime between 10/1 @11:00 PM to 10/2 9:00 AM.    Open. 

101104    11:37 AM.    Burglary of Building:    Lambda Chi Alpha House/3004 Dyer Court.    A student reported theft of a large custom Texas mirror, stuff and mounted Texas Longhorn and one composite class photo of 2006 members.  The theft occurred sometime between 10/1- 6:00 PM to 10/2- 4:30 AM.    Open.

101105    12:31 PM.    Theft:    Crow Building/6210 Bishop Blvd.    Two Students and a visitor reported theft of their back packs and a purse from a lecture room.  The theft occurred on 10/2 between 12:30-12:45 PM.    Open.

101106    10:10 PM.    Theft:    Cockrell Hall/5905 Ownby Drive.    A student reported theft of his bicycle. The theft occurred on 10/2 between 9:40-10:20 PM.    Open.

101108    1:09 AM.    Public Intoxication:    East Campus/6300 Central Expressway.    A non affiliated person was issued a Justice of the Peace citation, arrested and booked into University Park jail for being intoxicated in a public place.    Closed.

101109    2:42 AM.    Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor:    Owens Fine Arts Center/6100 Bishop.    A student was referred to the Student Conduct Office for underage drinking.    Closed.

101110    4:29 AM.    Criminal Mischief:    McElvaney Hall/6000 Bishop Blvd.    A Police Officer reported observing damaged ceiling tiles at this location.    Open.

101112    2:59 PM.    Criminal Mischief:    Off Campus.    A staff member reported damages to the SMU athletic trailer while parked in Houston for the SMU/Houston football game.    The damages occurred sometime between 10/1- 11:30 AM to 10/3- 2:00 PM.    Open.

101113    7:21 AM.    Fire Alarm:    Owens Fine Art Center/Meadows Gallery Room/6101 Bishop.   University Park Fire Department responded to an active fire alarm.  No signs of fire or smoke was observed.  It was determined the cause of the alarm was from a malfunction of the fire alarm system.  UPFD reset the fire panel and cleared with no further incident.    Closed. 

101116    7:23 PM.   Fire Alarm:    Peyton Hall/3325 Peyton Parkway.     University Park Fire Department responded to an activated fire alarm.  It was determined a student placed a towel in a microwave trying to heat the towel to use as a heating pad.  The towel burst into flames and the student pulled the fire alarm pull station.  The fire was extinguished by another student.  UPFD reset the pull station, fire panel and cleared with no further incident.     Closed.

101142    8:27 AM.    Criminal Mischief:    Heroy Parking Lot.    The gate arm was found to have been forced open causing the gears to offset .    Open.

101143    9:36 PM.    Public Intoxication:    Gerald J. Ford Stadium/5801 Airline Rd.    A student was issued a University Park citation, arrested and booked into University Park jail and referred to the Student Conduct Office for being intoxicated in a public place.    Closed.

101145    1:18 AM.    Fire Alarm:    Meadows Museum Parking Garage/5900 Bishop Blvd.    University Park Fire Department responded to an active fire alarm.  The fire alarm was caused by a water flow alarm in the mechanical room.   Allied Fire Protection Services were called out to the scene.   UPFD cleared with no further incident.  Closed.

101146    8:20 AM.    Criminal Mischief:    McElvaney Hall/6000 Bishop Blvd.    A police officer reported damage to ceiling tiles at this location.  The incident occurred sometime between 10/10 3:00 PM-10/11 8:20 AM.    Open.

101151    12:59 PM.    Theft:    Moore Hall/Bike Rack/5810 Hillcrest.     A student reported theft of her bicycle.  The theft occurred sometime between 10/8 12:30 PM - 10/13 8:00 AM.  Open.

101154    6:24 PM.    Fire:    3200 Binkley/Trash can.    University Park Fire Department responded to a trash can fire caused by a cigarette thrown into a trash can.  Water was poured inside the trash can before UPFD arrived.   UPFD responded and observed no danger of fire and cleared.    Closed.

101155    11:54 PM.    Public Intoxication:    Intersection of Durham@3000 Daniel.    A student was issued a University Park citation, arrested and booked into University Park jail and referred to the Student Conduct Office for being intoxicated in a public place.    Closed.

101190    9:20 AM.    Criminal Mischief:    McElvaney Hall/6000 Bishop Blvd.    The hall director reported some unknown person damaged the light fixtures in both elevators and ceiling tiles and light fixtures on the second floor of McElvaney Hall.    Open.

101279    1:16 PM.    Fire Alarm:    Pi Kappa Alpha House/3035 Dyer Street.    The fire panel indicated smoke alarm in kitchen.  The cook said he had burnt some food.  The area was ventilated and the fire alarm was rest with no further incident.    Closed.

101280    1:31 PM.    Fire Alarm:    Panhellenic House 1/3109 Daniel Avenue.     The house was in full alarm.  The fire panel indicated 2nd floor smoke detector.  The house mom said the AC technicians changed the AC coil on Friday evening.  The house mom called the AC technicians who said he sorted the new coils and the residue may have activated the smoke detector.  The fire panel was reset and remained in normal status.  Closed.

101282    12:29 AM.    Fire Alarm:    Phi Gamma Delta/3064 SMU Blvd.    University Park Fire Department responded to an active fire alarm.  The fire panel indicated an activated smoke detector in the game room.  There  was no fire or smoke detected.  UPFD checked the building and found no reason for the alarm.  The fire panel was reset and UPFD cleared with no further incident.    Closed.
