101288    6:42 PM.    Fire Alarm:    Delta Delta Delta House/3100 University Blvd.    University Park Fire Department responded to an active fire alarm.  The fire panel indicated second floor smoke detector.  No sign of fire or smoke observed.  UPFD checked the area and determined there was an unknown cause for the fire alarm.  The fire panel was reset with no further incident.    Closed.

 101296    9:37 AM.    Fraudulent Use or Possession of ID Information:    Hughes Trigg Student Center/SMU Computer Corner/3140 Dyer Street.    A staff member reported an unknown person attempted to purchase computer equipment by charging it to a lost SMU Student ID card.   The incident occurred on 11/3 between 4:00 - 4:20 PM.     Open.

101299   10:39 PM.    Theft:    Hughes Trigg Student Center/3140 Dyer Street.    A student reported theft of her textbook.   The theft occurred on 11/4/10 sometime between 10:05 - 10:41 PM.     Open.

101330    1:48 AM.    Assault:    Cockrell Hall/5905 Ownby Drive.   Two students were involved in an altercation and were referred to the Student Conduct Office.    Closed.

101331    2:14 AM.    Fire Alarm/Possession of Alcohol by a Minor/Possession of Alcohol by a Minor/Possession /Delivery of Drug Paraphernalia/Possession of Marijuana/Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor/Possession of Fictitious License or ID:    Pi Kappa Alpha House/3035 Dyer Street.   University Park Fire Department and SMU PD Officers responded to an active fire alarm with activation of siren and strobes.  It was determined the cause of the fire alarm was caused by several discharged fire extinguishers. Seven students were referred to the Student Conduct Office for failure to evacuate during a fire alarm.  One student was referred for tampering with fire protection system.   A student was referred to the Student Conduct Office for underage drinking and for possessing a fake ID.  A student was referred to the Student Conduct Office for possession of marijuana ,possession of paraphernalia and for underage drinking.  A student was referred for the Student Conduct Office for possession of alcohol by a minor.  Closed.

101371    4:06 PM.    Fire Alarm.    Meadows Museum.    The fire alarm was activated at this location due to a defective heat detector.  The Fire Safety Inspector responded and replaced the defective part.    Closed.

101388    6:13 PM.    Suspicious Person.    Fondren Library.    A student reported an unknown male started talking to her in the library and made her feel uncomfortable so she called SMU PD and her friends.  The unknown male was gone when the police arrived but her friends saw him.      Open.

101391    2:23 PM.    Fire Alarm:    Phi Gamma Delta /3064 SMU Blvd.   University Park Fire Department responded to an active fire alarm.  It was determined the alarm was activated by sheet rock dust.  UPFD reset the fire panel and cleared with no further incident.    Closed.

101392    7:29  PM.    Theft:    South Quad Lot/6000 Ownby Drive.    A student reported theft of her customized Audi emblems from her vehicle.  The theft occurred on 11/15 between 5:00 -6:30 PM.    Open.

101403    4:22 PM.    Fire:    Morrison Hall/6004 Bishop Blvd.    University Park Fire Department responded to a fire.  It was determined a microwave oven was on fire.  Two staff members extinguished the fire.  UPFD verified the fire was extinguished and vented the smoke from the building. There was no food in the microwave and the cause of the fire is unknown.   UPFD reset the fire alarm and cleared with no further incident.    Closed.

101410    3:05 AM.    Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor:    Phi D2 SMU Blvd.    University Park Fire Department responded to an active fire alarm.  It was determined a fire extinguisher had been discharged on the second floor.  UPFD reset the fire panel and cleared with no furelta Theta House/3072 SMU Blvd.   A student was referred to the Student Conduct Office for underage drinking.    Closed.

101411    11:21 AM.    Fire:    Umphrey Lee Center/3300 Dyer St.    University Park Fire Department responded to an active fire alarm.  The fire panel indicated a low water flow in mechanical room 128B.  Inspection of mechanical room showed no water leak.  Allied Alarm Services was contacted for repairs.  UPFD reset the fire panel and cleared with no further incident.

101413    2:15 PM.    Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse:    SMU Bookstore/3060 Mockingbird Lane.     A former student reported theft of her wallet which contained cash, gift cards and bank cards.    Open.

101426    9:22 PM.    Criminal Mischief:    3000 SMU Blvd./SMU Alley.    A student reported an unknown person damaged his front windshield to his vehicle with a beer bottle.  The incident occurred sometime between 1:30-9:00 PM.    Open.

101429    10:32 AM.    Criminal Mischief:    5905 Ownby Drive.    An unknown person removed a fire extinguisher from an unknown location and extinguished the dry chemical in front of Cockrell/McIntosh Hall.     Open 

101430   3:24 PM.    Theft:    Snider Hall/3305 Dyer Street.    A student reported theft of her purse which contained a wallet, cash, bank cards and a military ID.    Open.

101432    8:50 AM.    Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor:  6000 Bishop Blvd.  A student was referred to the Student Conduct Office for underage drinking.    The incident occurred during tailgating on 11/20.     Closed.

101435    11:09 AM.    Criminal Mischief/Burglary of Coin Operated Machine:   Cockrell Hall/Basement Lounge/5905 Ownby Drive.    A staff member reported some unknown person broke into the Coca Cola machine causing damages to the coke machine and stole all the beverages.       Open. 

101436    11:16 AM.    Theft:    Umphrey Lee Center/Cafeteria/3300 Dyer Street.    A student reported theft of her backpack. The theft occurred between 11:00 - 11:15 AM.    Open.

101453    6:38 PM.    Fire Alarm:    Morrison Hall.    An officer responded to a fire alarm where the horns and strobes where activated. The panel showed activation from the third floor lobby and it was determined the cause of the alarm was due to overcooked popcorn. University Park responded and reset the panel.    Closed.
