MAY 1

090518    12:22 AM.    Public Intoxication/Evading Arrest or Detention:    6004 Bishop Blvd/Between Morrison/McGinnis Halls.    A student was issued a University Park citation, arrested and booked into Highland Park jail for being intoxicated in a public place and for evading arrest. The student was referred to the Student Conduct Office.   Closed

090519    1:31 AM.    Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor/Possession of Fictitious License or ID:    West Quad in front of Virginia/Snider Hall.    A student was referred to the Student Conduct Office for underage drinking and for possessing a fake ID.    Closed.

090521    3:58 PM.   Public Intoxication:    Off Campus/2800 SMU Blvd. Alley.      University Park Police issued a student a citation, arrested and booked him into Highland Park jail for being intoxicated in a public place.     Closed.

090526    11:25 PM.    Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor:    South Quad/6000 Bishop.    A student was referred to the Student Conduct Office for underage drinking.    Closed.

090527    12:30    AM.    Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor:    3100 Binkley Ave.    A student was referred to the Student Conduct Office for underage drinking.    Closed.

090528    12:41    AM.    Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor:    McElvaney Hall/6000 Bishop.    A student was referred to the Student Conduct Office for underage drinking.    Closed.

090529    2:13 AM    Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor:    Morrison Hall/6004 Bishop.    A student was issued a University Park citation, arrested, booked into a Highland Park jail and referred to the Student Conduct Office for underage drinking.    Closed.

090530    1:58 AM.    Public Intoxication:    6000 Bishop.    A student was issued a University Park citation, arrested, booked into a Highland Park jail and referred to the Student Conduct Office for underage drinking.    Closed.

090533    3:34 AM.    Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor:    Hawk Hall/5908 Hillcrest.    A student was referred to the Student Conduct Office for underage drinking.    Closed.

090537    12:55 PM.    Failure to Leave Identification:    Kappa Sigma House/3022 SMU Blvd.    A student reported someone damaged his vehicle and did not leave their information.    Open.

090538    5:06 PM.    Fire Alarm.    Hamon Arts Library.    Officers responded to the building in full alarm.  No cause for the alarm to be activated could be found.  UP Fire Department responded and determined it was a possible malfunction.    Closed.

090539    5:26 PM.    Criminal Mischief:   Moody Parking Garage.     The gate arm for the exit on the north side of the garage was broken off.    Open.

090540    7:04 PM.    Fire Alarm.    Morrison McGinnis Hall.    Officers responded to the building in full alarm.  UP Fire Department also responded and could not locate the cause  for the alarm.  Lightening from a thunderstorm may have caused the alarm to malfunction.  Closed.


MAY 3

090541    1:20 AM.    Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor/Possession of Fictitious ID.    Sigma Chi House.    A student will be referred to the Student Conduct Officer for underage drinking and have a fake ID.    Closed.

090542    3:45 AM.    Fire Alarm/Tampering with Fire Protection Systems.    Boaz Hall.    Officers responded to the building in full alarm.  UP Fire Department also responded and determined the fire alarm was set off by someone activating a fire extinguisher.    Open.


MAY 4

090546    6:14 PM.    Fire Alarm:     Collins Executive Center.   University Park Fire Department responded to a smoky refrigerator.  An Aramark employee said he found a small fire inside the refrigerator and he used the fire extinguisher to put it out.  Firefighter determined the fire was caused by some poor electrical work.   They turned off the main power and cleared with no further incident.   Closed.

090554    11:55 AM.    Theft/Evading Arrest or Detention:    SMU Bookstore/3060 Mockingbird.     Two non affiliated persons were apprehended by SMU police, one was arrested for theft of textbooks. The other was charged at large for evading arrest after being hospitalized.    Closed.

090555    3:41 PM.    Theft:    Off Campus.    A non affiliated person reported theft of his bicycle.    Open.


MAY 8

090559    12:43 AM.    Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor:    Intersection of Dublin/SMU Blvd.    Two students were referred to the Student Conduct Officer for underage drinking.    Closed.

090560    10:54 AM.    Fire:    Colliins Executive Center/3150 Binkley.    University Park Fire Department responded to an active fire alarm.  It was determined it was caused by a shorting of power supply.      Closed.

090561    4:42 PM.    Possession/Delivery of Drug Paraphernalia/Theft:    SMU Bookstore/3060 Mockingbird.    A non affiliated man was issued a University Park citation for drug paraphernalia, arrested and booked into Highland Park for theft of textbooks.    Closed.


MAY 9

090562    12:32 AM.    Criminal Mischief:    McElvaney Hall/6000 Bishop.    A student was referred to the Student Conduct Office for damaging the walls on the 2nd floor hallway.  Closed.

090563    3:51 PM.    Theft:    McElvaney Hall/6000 Bishop.   A student reported theft of his bicycle.    Open.


MAY 10

090566    12:58 AM.    Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor /Possession of Fictitious License or ID.    Lambda Chi Alpha House/3004 Dyer Court.    Two students were referred to the Student Conduct Officer for underage drinking. One was also referred for possessing a fake drivers license.    Closed.

090567    12:13 AM.    Possession/Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor:    Lambda Chi Alpha House/3004 Dyer Court.    A student was referred to the Conduct Officer for possessing alcohol by a minor and for underage drinking.   Closed.

090568    1:51 AM.    Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor:    McElvaney Hall/6000 Bishop.    A student was referred to the Student Conduct Office for underage drinking.    Closed.

090569    3:03 AM.      Failure to Leave Identification:    Off Campus.    Dallas Police Department responded to SMU PD in reference to a student failed to leave identification after hitting a vehicle.    Open.

090570    3:28 AM.    Public Intoxication/Possession of Fictitious License or ID:    Dedman Parking Lot.    A student was issued a citation for being intoxicated in a public place, arrested and booked into Highland Park jail.    The student was also referred to the Student Conduct office for possessing a fake ID.    Closed.

090574    11:33 PM.   Criminal Mischief:    Dallas Hall/3525 University.    A Police Officer reported some unknown person put dish soap into the water fountain causing damage.    Open.

090575    2:55 AM.    Consumption of Alcohol By a Minor:    Boaz Hall/3200 Binkley Avenue.    A student was issued a University Park citation and referred to the Student Conduct Officer for underage drinking.    Closed.

090576    3:41 AM.    Consumption of Alcohol By a Minor:    McElvaney Hall/6000Bishop.    A student was referred to the Student Conduct Office for underage drinking.    Closed.

090577    6:43 AM.    Public Intoxication/Criminal Mischief:    Moore Hall/5810 Hillcrest.    A student was issued a University Park citation, arrested and booked into Highland Park jail for being intoxicated in a public place and for damaging property.    Closed.

090578    2:59 PM.    Disorderly Conduct:    Ownby at 3400 McFarlin.    A student was issued a University Park citation for yelling out profanities and offending a staff member.    Closed.

090579    3:00 PM.    Theft:    Dedman Center/6000 Airline.    A staff member reported theft of a flash drive.    Open.

090581    5:38 PM.    Theft:    Dedman Center/6000 Airline.    A student reported theft of his wallet.    Open.

090585    4:09 AM.    Consumption of Alcohol by Minor:    A student was issued a University Park citation and referred to the Student Conduct Officer for underage drinking.    Closed.

090598    9:08 PM.    Fire Alarm:    Umphrey Lee Center\3300 Dyer.    University Park Fire Department responded to an active fire alarm.  The firemen determined it to be a malfunction.  University Park Firemen reset the fire panel and cleared with no further incident.    Closed.

090602    12:06 PM.    Theft:    Cockrell Hall/5905 Ownby Drive.    A student reported theft of his bicycle which was recovered.       Closed.

090607    10:09 PM.    Fire Alarm:    Virginia/Snider Hall/3325 Dyer.    University Park Fire Department responded to an active fire alarm.  It was determined steam leaking from a pipe activated the alarm.  The fire panel was silence and the firemen cleared with no further incident.    Closed.

090610    2:52 AM.    Fire Alarm:    Virginia/Snider Hall/3325 Dyer.    University Park Fire Department responded to an active fire alarm.  It was determined steam and heat from a mechanical room caused the alarm to activate.  The fire panel was reset and the firemen cleared with no further incident.     Closed.
