090619 2:19 PM. Theft: Fondren Science Building. A faculty member reported missing property from a computer lab. Open.

090623 12:08 PM. Theft: A student reported theft of her cell phone. Open.

090625 12:42 AM. Alcohol Policy Violation: Off Campus/6000 Thackery. A University Park Police Officer issued a University Park Citation to an SMU student for underage drinking. The student was referred to the Student Conduct Officer. Closed.
090626 2:24 AM. Assist Other Agency/Public Intoxication: Off Campus/6300 Armstrong. An SMU Police Officer responded to assist University Park Police with an intoxicated person who caused damage to another vehicle. The non affiliated person was arrested and booked into Highland Park jail. Closed.
090627 10:35 AM. Fire Alarm: Shuttles Hall/6212 Hillcrest. University Park Fire Department responded to an activated fire alarm. It was determined the alarm was triggered accidentally by a contractor who was changing out the battery on the pull station. The firemen reset the fire panel and cleared with no further incident. Closed.

090633 7:23 PM. Assist Other Agency/Theft: Park Cities Plaza/CVS Drug Store. SMU Police assisted University Park Police with three non affiliated females who had stolen property in their undergarments that belonged to CVS. One subject had stolen property in her purse. University Park Police took custody of the subjects and booked them into Highland Park jail. Closed.

090635 9:01 PM. Theft: 3012 Mockingbird/CVS. A CVS employee reported theft of hair shampoo. A non affiliated person was issued a University Park citation for for the theft. Closed.

090636 11:39 AM. Theft: Bridwell Library/6005 Bishop Blvd. A staff member reported theft of money from her purse. Open.
090637 1:39 PM. Theft: Dedman Sports Center/ 6000Airline. A staff member reported theft of a brand new leaf blower from his CPPO department's four wheel cart. Open.
090638 1:42 PM. Possession of Marijuana: Moody Coliseum/6024 Airline. A cheer camp coach turned in a clear plastic baggie containing marijuana. The non affiliated juvenile was released to her parents. Closed.
090639 4:08 PM. Possession of Fictitious License or ID: Memorial Health Center/6211 Bishop Blvd. A student was referred to the Student Conduct Officer for possessing a fictitious drivers license. Closed.

090642 4:14 PM. Criminal Mischief: South Quad Lot/6000 Ownby. A staff member reported his vehicle was damaged while parked. Open.

090642 9:15 AM. Theft: Loyd All-Sports Center/Rm. 207. A faculty member reported theft of an IBM computer. Open.

090658 1:13 AM. Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: Bishop Blvd. Two minors were cited for consumption of alcohol by a minor. Closed.
090658 3:35 PM. Theft: Fondren Library. A student reported the theft of a laptop computer. Closed.
090660 5:47 PM. Fire Alarm: Phi Gamma Delta House. Officers responded to the building in full alarm. UP Fire Department also responded and determined anything could have triggered the smoke detector. Closed.
090662 8:45 PM. Fire Alarm: Virginia Hall. An officer noticed the horns and strobes were activated in Virginia Hall. University Park Fire and Rescue was dispatched to the scene. The fire alarm shoed to be caused by a heat alarm in the room. University Park Fire and Rescue investigated the room and found it to be extremely hot. The fire alarm panel was reset. Closed.

090663 6:22 PM. Theft: Dedman Center/Men's locker room. A visitor reported theft of his Rolex watch. Open.
090664 6:31 PM. Theft/Criminal Attempt: SMU Bookstore/Barnes & Noble/3060 Mockingbird. Two non affiliated persons attempted theft of nine compact CD discs. The property was recovered before the suspects left the bookstore. Closed.

090666 10:54 PM. Aggravated Robbery: Off Campus/3100 Rosedale Ave. A female student reported she was carjacked and robbed at gun point. Open.

090669 8:38 PM. Graffiti: 5538 Dyer Street. While on patrol an officer observed and reported graffiti on the south side of the building. Open.

090673 7:21 PM. Fire Alarm: Virginia/Snider Hall. 3325 Peyton Parkway. University Park Fire Department responded to an active fire alarm. The alarm was caused by a a heat alarm in a mechanical room. The Fire panel was reset and Campus Planning & Plant Operation was contacted for repairs. Closed.

090678 7:15 AM. Fire Alarm: Mary Hay Hall/3323 Peyton Parkway. An officer responded to an active fire alarm caused by steam from the shower which activated the smoke detector. The fire panel was reset by fire safety staff and fire department was not dispatched. Closed.
090679 4:21 PM. Fire Alarm ( Trouble Alarm): Moore Hall/5810 Hillcrest. An officer responded to an active smoke detector indicated on the fire panel. It was determined the smoke detector signal on the fire panel was malfunctioning. Fire safety staff was notified. Closed.
