February 1
090096 1:45 AM. Driving Under The Influence By a Minor: 3300 Peyton Parkway. A student was issued a University Park citation and referred to the Student Conduct Officer for driving under the influence as a minor. His driver's license was confiscated and will be forwarded to the state. Closed.
090097 8:45 AM. Criminal Mischief: Ford Stadium/Gate 5. A police officer reported he found a damaged light fixture. Open.
February 2
090101 5:52 PM. Sexual Assault: Hawk Hall. A student reported she was sexually assaulted by a person she knew who is not affiliated with SMU. Closed. CRIME ALERT ISSUED

090103 1:41 AM. Burglary of Habitation: Perkins Hall. Two students reported theft of money from their room. Open.
090104 12:25 PM. Sexual Assault: Kappa Sigma House. A student reported she was sexually assaulted in August 2008 by an SMU student. Closed. CRIME ALERT ISSUED
090105 1:16 PM. Fire Alarm: Dedman Life Sciences Bldg. University Park Fire Department responded to an active fire alarm. It was determined a steam pipe releasing steam activated the smoke detector which caused the fire alarm activation. Closed.

090110 12:47 PM. Theft: Paul Loyd Sports Center/Track &Field Locker Rm. A student reported theft of her sports bag, digital camera, IPOD, USB, SMU logo jacket and pants. Open.
090111 1:25 PM. Criminal Attempt: 3000 SMU Blvd. A non affiliated person reported a student was attempting to remove a boot from his vehicle. The student was referred to the Student Conduct Officer. Closed.
090112 2:00 PM. Theft: Owens Arts Center/Rm. 6101. A staff member reported theft of ceiling projector from a classroom. Open.

090119 3:41 PM. Failure to Leave Identification: Dyer Court Lot. A student reported some unknown person hit his vehicle while parked. Open.
090120 9:06 PM. Criminal Mischief: 5900 Ownby. A police officer reported a damaged stop sign. Open.

090122 12:58 AM. Fire Alarm: McGinnis Hall/2nd Floor. University Park Fire Department responded to an activated fire alarm. It was determined the activation was caused by burnt popcorn in the microwave. Closed.
090123 1:11 AM. Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: McElvaney Hall. A student was referred to the Student Conduct Office for underage drinking. Closed.
090124 3:21 AM. Criminal Mischief: Blanton Bldg. A police officer reported a damaged cement garbage can. Open.

090129 12:20 AM. Disorderly Conduct/Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: South Quad/6025 Ownby. A student was issued a University Park citation for urinating in a public place and for underage drinking. Closed.
090133 9:52 PM. Fire Alarm: Kappa Sigma House/3022 SMU Blvd. University Park Fire Department responded to an activated fire alarm. It was determined it was caused by an activated smoke detector. The Fire Department determined there was no smoke or fire and reset the panel with no further incident. Closed.

090135 8:27 AM. Reckless Damage or Destruction: Binkley Parking Garage. A gate arm was damaged knowingly and recklessly. Open.
090136 8:06 AM. Indecent Exposure: 3072 Mockingbird/Park Cities Plaza. A staff member reported an unknown person exposed his genitals and anus recklessly. Open.
090137 4:09 PM. Breach of Computer Security: SMU Police Department. A student reported someone accessed her SMU access account and added a meal plan and removed two classes from her class schedule. Open

090138 12:57 AM. Criminal Mischief: Sigma Alpha Epsilon/3005 Dyer Court. A police officer reported a broken window on the west side of the house. Open.
090139 1:11 AM. Criminal Mischief: East Campus/6200 Yale. A police officer reported graffiti on the back north wall of the listed location. Open.
090140 1:36 AM. Criminal Mischief: East Campus/6200 Yale. A police officer reported a gate leading to the west courtyard broken and a piece of plywood used to cover a window lying on the ground. Open.

090155 11:21 PM. Fire Alarm: Sigma Chi House. University Park Fire Department responded to an activated fire alarm. A police officer observed sirens and strobes visible and audible. The officer determined the alarm was caused by smoke from cigarettes. A student was referred to the Student Conduct officer for failure to evacuate during a fire alarm and failure to obey a University Police Officer. Closed.

090180 2:35 PM. Fire Alarm: Meadows Museum/2nd Floor Gallery. University Park Fire Department responded to an active fire alarm. The activation was caused by fire and smoke in the second floor gallery. Open.
090181 5:32 PM. Fire Alarm: Umphrey Lee Center. University Park Fire Department responded to a trashcan fire. No damaged was caused to the receptacle. The Fire Department cleared with not further incident. Closed.
090182 10:29 PM. Unlawful Use of Motor Vehicle: 3000 Binkley. A student reported theft of his vehicle. Open.

090185 2:27 AM. Criminal Mischief: Kappa Alpha House. A member of the Kappa Sigma reported hearing a loud banging and then a window breaking. A wooden post was thrown through the window causing it to break. Open.
