Crimes are in chronological order. The most recent crimes are at the bottom of the list.
December 1
091456 3:07 AM. Fire Alarm: Morrison Hall. A police officer responded to an activated fire alarm. The responding officer observed the horns and strobes activated. It was determined that the cause of the alarm was due to overcooked food in the basement level lounge. University Park Fire Department responded and rest the panel. Closed.
091457 11:26 AM. Theft: Hughes Trigg Student Center. A Computer Corner staff reported the theft of 2 laptops, s pieces of software, and a protection plan. Open.
091461 4:30 PM. Theft: Hughes Trigg Student Center. A staff member reported the theft of a banner. Open.

091465 3:10 PM. Theft: Maguire Building. A staff member repotted the theft of books from a secured cabinet in the office. Open.
091466 5:44 PM. Fire Alarm: Kappa Sigma House. A police officer responded to a silence beeping alarm panel. Two different trouble alarms were sounding at the panel. Both alarms where then silenced. Closed.

091467 3:17 AM. University Park City Ordinance: Off Campus/6004 Auburndale. A student was issued a University Park citation for violation of University Park City Ordinance for excessive noise. The student was referred to the Student Conduct Office. Closed.
091469 8:44 AM. Weapons Policy Violation: Smith Hall/6004 Hillcrest Avenue. A student was referred to the Student Conduct Office for violating SMU policy. Closed.

091472 12:07 AM. Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: McElvaney Hall/6000 Bishop Blvd. A student was referred to the Student Conduct Office for underage drinking. Closed.
091473 1:04 AM. Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: Phi Delta Theta House/3072 SMU Blvd. A student was referred to the Student Conduct Office for underage drinking. Closed.
091474 2:15 AM. Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: Sigma Alpha Epsilon/3005 Dyer Court. A student was referred to the Student Conduct Office for underage drinking. Closed.
091476 8:05 PM. Possession/Delivery of Drug Paraphernalia: McIntosh Hall/5904 Bishop Blvd. A student was issued a University Park citation for drug paraphernalia and referred to the Student Conduct Office. Closed
091477 11:11 PM. Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: Boaz Hall/3200 Binkley. A student was issued a University Park citation, arrested and transported to University Park jail for underage drinking. The student was also referred to the Student Conduct Office. Closed.

091478 2:09 AM. Failure to Leave Identification: 6300 Ownby Drive/East Side. A student reported damage to his vehicle while parked at this location. No contact information was left at the scene. Open.
091479 2:57 AM. Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: McElvaney Hall/6000 Bishop Blvd. An officer responded to a report of an individual passed out. Upon arrival the student was conscious and breathing but under the influence of alcohol. The student was referred to the Student Conduct Office for underage drinking. Closed.
091480 10:25 PM. Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: Boaz Hall/3200 Binkley Avenue. A student was referred to the Student Conduct Office for underage drinking. Closed.

091481 12:16 AM. Possession of Alcohol by a Minor/Possession/Delivery of Drug Paraphernalia/Possession of Marijuana/Passive Participation-Drug Policy Violation: Shuttles Hall/6212 Hillcrest Avenue. Two students were issued University Park citations, arrested and booked into University Park jail for possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The two students will also be referred to the Student Conduct Office for possessing alcohol by minors. Two other students were referred for to the Student Conduct Office for University policy violation passive participation drug policy violation. Closed.

091484 10:38 PM. Theft: Moore Hall. A student reported the theft of her medication. Open.

091487 12:19 PM. Harassment: Embrey Bldg./3101 Dyer Street. A student reported receiving harassing e-mails and text-messages from another student. The student was referred to the Student Conduct Office. Closed.
091488 1:18 PM. Fire Alarm: Panhellenic House 2. A police officer responded to a fire alarm at the above location which was caused by burned food. The fire alarm reset itself and the University Park Fire Department cleared the scene. Closed.
091491 8:33 PM. Possession of Alcohol by a Minor: Pi Kappa Alpha House. A student was referred to the Student Conduct Office for possession of alcohol by a minor. Closed.

091492 2:20 AM. Driving While Intoxicated. Off Campus/4400 Warcola. A student was arrested, transported to University Park jail, and referred to the Student Conduct Office for driving while intoxicated. Closed.
091493 8:18 AM. Theft: Dawson Service Center. A staff member reported the theft of coffee items from the break room. Open.
091494 2:18 PM. Burglary of a Building: Pi Kappa Alpha House/3035 Dyer Street. A student reported theft of three composite pictures of the fraternity, fraternity letters, painting of the Fraternity Crest and an embroidered emblem of the Fraternity. Open.
December 11
091497 12:28 AM. Alcohol Policy Violation/Failure to obey a University Police Officer: Sigma Alpha Epsilon/3005 Dyer Court. The fraternity house was referred to the Student Conduct Office for Alcohol Policy Violation and for failure to obey a University Police Officer. Closed.
091498 2:14 AM. Public Intoxication/Possession of Alcoholic Beverage in Motor Vehicle/Driving While Intoxicated: Off Campus/ Lovers at Greenville Avenue. A non affiliated man was issued a Justice of the Peace citation, arrested and booked into University Park jail for being intoxicated in a public place. Another non affiliated man will be charged at large for driving while intoxicated. Both men will also be charged with possession of alcohol beverage in a motor vehicle. Closed.
091499 2:34 PM. Burglary of a Building: Dallas Hall/3225 University Blvd./Room 350. Two faculty members reported theft of a camera, money and clothing from their offices. Open.
091500 3:20 PM. Accident Involving Damage to a Vehicle: Fondren at Ownby Drive. A non affiliated man struck a student's vehicle while backing out of a parking space. Closed.

091502 12:39 AM. Failure to Obey a University Police Officer/Non-Criminal Drug Policy Violation: Phi Delta Theta House/3072 SMU Blvd. A Police Officer reported a strong odor of marijuana emitting from two rooms. The police officer heard people inside the rooms and he announced himself and asked them to open the door, there was no response. The two rooms were referred to the Student Conduct Office. Closed.
091503 4:34 PM. Criminal Mischief: Hillcrest Manor Apartments/3304 Daniel Avenue. A staff member reported damage to her unoccupied vehicle. Open.
091504 11:27 PM. Harassment: Patterson Hall/3128 Dyer/SMU Police Department. A faculty member reported receiving a large amount of e-mails from a student after learning he was failing her class. Open.
091505 11:47 PM. Possession of Alcohol by a Minor/Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor/Alcohol Policy Violation: Phi Delta Theta House/3072 SMU Blvd. Six students were referred to the Student Conduct Office for underage drinking. One of the six students admitted the alcohol inside the room belonged to him and he will be referred for possessing the alcohol by a minor. The house was referred for alcohol policy violation. Closed.
091506 1:55 AM. Failure to Obey a University Police Officer/Non-Criminal Drug Policy Violation: Phi Gamma Delta/3064 SMU Blvd. A Police Officer reported a strong odor of marijuana emitting from a room. As the officer walked up to the room an unidentified male opened the door looked at the officer and then slammed and locked the door. The police officer knocked and announced his presence and asked for him to open the door, there was no response. A student was referred for failure to obey a University Police Officer. Closed.

091508 12:51 AM. Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor/Alcohol Policy Violation: Kappa Sigma House/3022 SMU Blvd. Three students were referred to the Student Conduct Office for underage drinking. The house was referred for Alcohol Policy violation. Closed.

091512 12:45 PM. Possession of Alcohol by a Minor: Baird's Bldg./5230 Mockingbird Lane. A student was referred to the Student Conduct Office for possession of alcohol by a minor. Closed.

091538 10:11 AM. Hazmat Accident or Spill: Embrey Engineering Bldg./3101 Dyer Street. A box in a room was leaking and the label on it said it contained Hydrochloric Acid. The Officers evacuated the building and University Park, Highland Park and Dallas Fire Departments responded to the scene. Eagle Construction and Environmental Services Hazmat Spill Response arrived to clean the spill and removed the box containing the Hydrochloric Acid. Closed.

091539 1:00 PM. Theft: Owens Arts Center/6101 Bishop Blvd. A student reported theft of her purse. The purse contained prescribed medication, SMU ID and a Visa credit card. Open.
091542 11:32 PM. Driving Under the Influence by a Minor/Possession of a Fictitious ID: 6000 Bishop. A non affiliated person was issued University Park citation for driving under the influence by a minor and for possessing a fake ID. Three other non affiliated minors were also identified and all admitted to consuming alcohol. They were released to a parent at the scene. Closed.

091543 11:25 AM. Harassment: A student reported she has been receiving harassing emails from two other Theology graduate students. Open.
