090766 2:32 PM. Theft. SMU Bookstore/Barnes & Noble. Two unaffiliated males were arrested for stealing books and having outstanding warrants. Closed.

090769 3:24 PM. Fire Alarm. Sigma Chi House. Contractors painting the inside of the house activated the fire alarm. Closed.

090796 2:13 PM. Theft: SMU Bookstore/Barnes & Noble/3060 Mockingbird. A staff member reported theft of a textbook. Open.
090797 6:11 PM. Fire Alarm: Pan-Hellenic I//3109 Daniel Ave. University Park Fire Department responded to a fire alarm received in the dispatch office. The house mom said the fire panel had been in trouble mode and she had pressed the reset button. The Fire Department verified there were no signs of fire and cleared with no further incident. Closed.

090804 1:21 AM. Driving Under the Influence by a Minor: 3200 Binkley Ave. A student was issued a University Park Citation for driving under the influence by a minor. Closed.
090806 10:15 AM. Burglary of Building/Criminal Attempt: Hamon Arts Library/6100 Hillcrest. A former student reported he observed a white male backing out of the west exit doors with one of the chairs from the lounge area. The former student proceeded to tell a staff member. When they returned they observed two of the white leather chairs hidden behind the outdoor pillars. The suspect was not located, nor was there a direction of travel. The chairs were returned to the lounge. Open.

090810 2:09 AM. Driving Under the Influence by a Minor: Intersection of Mockingbird/Bishop. A student was issued a University Park citation and referred to the student conduct office for driving under the influence by a minor. Closed.
090811 4:40 AM. Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: 3000 SMU Blvd./on north sidewalk. A student was referred to the student conduct officer for underage drinking. Closed.
090813 1:35 PM. Fire Alarm: Kirby Hall/5915 Bishop. A police officer responded to a trouble alarm. The fire panel indicated disabled active Kirby 3rd floor sprinkler. The officer checked the building and nothing out of the ordinary was found. He silenced the panel and cleared with no further incident. Closed.
090815 4:15 PM. Theft: Dedman Center for Lifetime Sports/6000 Airline Rd. A student reported theft of his sunglasses from the wooden cubicles. Open.
090818 7:45 PM. Accident Involving Damage to Vehicle: 6000 Bishop Blvd. Two visitors reported striking each other's vehicles as one tried to pass the other while the other was turning into the Owens parking lot. Closed.

Possession of Alcohol by a Minor/Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor/Possession of Fictitious License or ID: Phi Gamma Delta/3064 SMU Blvd. Fourteen students were referred to the Student Conduct office for underage drinking. One of the fourteen students was also referred for possessing a fake ID. Another student was referred for possession of alcohol by a minor. Closed.

090823 1:32 AM. Failure to Identify/Disorderly Conduct/Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor/Possession of Fictitious or ID: Sigma Alpha Epsilon/3005 Dyer Court. A student was issued a University Park citation for underage drinking and urinating in a public place. Another student was issued a University Park citation for underage drinking and for possessing a fake ID. Both students were referred to the Student Conduct Office. Closed.
090824 2:25 AM. Failure to Identify/Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: Off Campus/4532 Livingston Dr./Highland Park. A student was issued citations, arrested and booked into Highland Park jail for underage drinking and for failure to Identify. Closed.
090825 2:51 AM. Assault/Failure to Identify/Resisting Arrest/Evading Arrest/Public Intoxication: Junkins Bldg/6251 Airline Rd. Two students were issued University Park citations, arrested and booked into University Park jail for being intoxicated in a public place. One student was charged with evading arrest with bodily injury, assault, resisting arrest, and being intoxicated in a public place. The other student was charged with failure to identify and being intoxicated in a public place. Closed.
090827 4:42 PM. Burglary of a Vehicle: Expressway Tower/6116 Central Expressway. A staff reported attempted theft of her vehicle. Open.

090852 8:01 PM. Failure To Leave Identification: Dedman Parking Lot. A student reported some unknown person struck his vehicle while parked at this location. No contact information was left. Open.
090853 9:44 PM. Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: Pi Kappa Alpha/3035 Dyer. Seven students were referred to the Student Conduct Office for underage drinking. Closed.

090858 6:58 PM. Possession Alcohol by a Minor: Off Campus/5322 Longview. Dallas Police Department responded to a loud noise disturbance call. Dallas Police Officers ended a party that contained approximately 85 people. Three bottles of Vodka and one case of Natural Light beer were destroyed. Both owners of the location are SMU students. Both students were referred the Student Conduct Officer for possessing alcohol. Closed.

090859 1:26 AM. Public Intoxication: Off Campus/Park Cities Plaza/5900 Airline. University Park Police arrested and booked in a student for being intoxicated in a public place. The student was referred to the Student Conduct Office. Closed
090860 1:28 AM. Public Intoxication/Possession of Fictitious License or ID: 3000 Binkley Ave./North sidewalk. A student was issued a University Park citation, arrested and booked into University Park jail for being intoxicated in a public place and for possessing a fake ID. 090865 7:56 AM. Fire Alarm: Pi Kappa Alpha/30335 Dyer Street. An officer responded to an activated trouble alarm. The alarm panel indicated low battery and then it would reset itself. The officer silenced the troubled alarm and cleared with no further incident. Closed.
090867 7:13 PM. Failure To Leave ID and Render Aid: 3000 SMU Blvd. A non affiliated person reported an unknown person struck her vehicle as she was turning into a parking space. The driver of the vehicle drove away without stopping to give any information. Open.
090870 9:34 PM. Criminal Mischief/Arrested on Warrant: Owens Arts Center/6101 Bishop. A non affiliated person was arrested and booked into Dallas County jail for outstanding warrants. A group of non affiliated juveniles broke a cable lock to an ice chest and were asked to leave. Closed.

A student was issued a University Park citation, arrested and booked into University Park jail for being intoxicated in a public place. 090878 9:27 AM. Minor in Possession of Alcohol/Misrepresentation of Age: Off Campus/3520 Greenville Ave./M Street Bar. Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission Agent sent a report where nine SMU student had been issued citations for underage drinking. Four students were issued citations for misrepresentation of age. All thirteen student were referred to the Student Conduct Office. Closed.

090880 10:12 AM. Theft: Dedman Center for Lifetime Sports/6000 Airline. A visitor reported theft of two hand rackets and racket balls. Open.
090881 12:06 PM. Reckless Damage or Destruction: Owens Fine Art Center Parking Lot. A staff member reported property damage. Open.

090886 9:52 PM. Possession of Fictitious License or ID: Off Campus/Gloria's/3700 Greenville. Dallas Police Department report they confiscated five SMU student's fictitious Identifications who were attempting to purchase alcoholic beverages. The students will be referred to the Student Conduct Office. Closed.
