081211 2:24 AM. Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: Owens Fine Arts Center. Two students were referred to the Student Conduct Officer for underage drinking. Closed.
081212 2:54 AM. Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor/Disorderly Conduct: Off Campus/3449 Asbury. A student was referred to the Student Conduct Officer for underage drinking. Another student was referred to the Student Conduct Officer for disorderly conduct. Both students were issued citations by University Park Officers. Closed.
081213 3:55 AM. Public Intoxication: McElvaney Hall. A student was issued a University Park citation, booked into Highland Park jail and referred to the Student Conduct Officer for being intoxicated in public. Closed.
081214 5:56 AM. Criminal Mischief: McElvaney Hall. A patrol officer reported damage and destruction to several ceiling tiles. Open.

081218 12:57 AM. Criminal Mischief: Sigma Alpha Epsilon. A window was found shattered/broken. Open.
081219 1:20 AM. Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: SMU Blvd. Alley. A student was issued a University Park citation and referred to the Student Conduct Officer for underage drinking. Closed.
081220 2:03 AM. Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor/Possession of Fictitious ID: Collins Executive Center. Two students were issued University Park citations and referred to the Student Conduct Officer for underage drinking. One of the students was also issued a citation for having a fake ID. Closed.
081222 2:53 AM. Fire Alarm/Failure to Evacuate during Fire Alarm: Sigma Alpha Epsilon House. A patrol officer observed the house in full alarm. University Park Fire Department arrived and determined that someone had sprayed water on the smoke detector shorting it out therefore activating the fire alarm. Several students were referred to the Student Conduct Officer for not evacuating during a fire alarm. Closed.

081231 11:36 PM. Burglary of Vehicle: 6000 Ownby/Loading Dock. An Aramark staff member reported theft of a six pack of Mr. Pibbs soda and a Victoria secrete night gown. Open.

081235 07:32 AM. Off Campus/Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: 5300 Sewanee Ave. Highland Park Police Department called to report they issued a student a citation for underage drinking. The student will be referred to the Student Conduct Officer. Closed.
081236 3:27 PM. Criminal Mischief - Class B: Moody Parking Garage. A student reported damage to her vehicle. Open.

081238 2:15 PM. Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse: Hughes Trigg Student Center. A student used another student's credit card fraudulently. The owner of the credit card did not want to prosecute. Closed.
081239 3:31 PM. Burglary of Vehicle: Moody Parking Garage. A student reported theft of his IPod, sunglasses and SMU parking decal. Open.

081245 2:25 AM. Fire Alarm/Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: Perkins Hall. University Park Fire Department responded and found no signs of smoke or fire and did confirm the pull station was activated. It was determined some unknown person had pulled the pull station which caused the fire alarm to activate. A student was issued a University Park citation for under age drinking. Closed.
081246 11:13 AM. Harassment: McElvaney Hall. A student reported she is being harassed. Open.
081247 12:14 PM. Criminal Mischief: Sigma Chi Parking Lot. A student reported damaged to his vehicle. Open.
081248 4:56 PM. Burglary of Vehicle: 5900 Dublin. A student reported theft of his backpack which contained textbooks, wallet, IPOD transmitter and GPS with power cord. Open.

081268 3:39 AM. Driving Under The Influence by a Minor: 6400 Airline. A student was issued a University Park Citation for driving under the influence by a minor. Closed.
081269 2:58 AM. Aggravated Robbery: Off Campus/Knox/Henderson St. A non-affiliated individual reported he was approached from behind by three Hispanic males. He said they struck him on the back of his head with a pistol. He said they blindfolded him and threw him in the back of his own vehicle. He said they drove him around to several bank locations and made him withdraw money. He said they drove him to the 3000 block of SMU Blvd. and kicked him out of the vehicle. He said they drove away in his vehicle. The Dallas Police Department is investigating. Open.
081270 4:44 AM. Criminal Trespass: Mary Hay Hall. A non affiliated person was booked into Dallas County jail for violating a Criminal Trespass Warning. Closed.
081273 10:48 AM. Fire Alarm: Kappa Sigma House. University Park Fire Department responded to an activated fire alarm. It was determined a smoke detector in a storage room activated the fire alarm. It was unfounded why the smoke detector was activated. The fire department cleared with no further incident. A student was referred to the Student Conduct Officer for violation of University Policy, failure to evacuated during a fire alarm. Closed.
081275 1:43 PM. Theft: Owens Fine Arts Center. A student reported theft of her backpack that contained a wallet, cash, credit cards, drivers license, Apple IPOD, SMU ID and her social security card. Open.

081294 4:23 PM. Theft: 6000 Bishop. A student reported theft of his I-phone and wallet he left in a yellow taxi cab. Open.
081296 6:51 PM. Theft: Boaz Lot. A student reported theft of his Apple Laptop and a sleeve cover. Open.
081297 7:20 PM. Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse: Patterson Hall. A student reported fraudulent charges to her Chase bank account. Open.
081298 1:08 AM. Fire Alarm: Kappa Sigma House. A smoke detector was activated in the basement due to fire extinguisher dust in the air. University Park Fire Department responded and determined the alarm was caused by an activation of a fire extinguisher. The Fire Department attempted to ventilate the house with high power fans to clear the dust from the air but were unsuccessful. The smoke detectors were damaged which resulted in the alarm unable to be reset. At the request of University Park Fire Marshal a twenty-four hour fire watch needed to be established until the system was repaired and alarm rest. Open.

081299 10:41 AM. Theft: Hughes Trigg Center/Courtyard. A student reported theft of his wallet, money, driver's license, debit/credit card, SMU ID and two gift cards. Open.
081300 10:46 PM. Fire Alarm: Kappa Alpha Theta House. University Park Fire Department responded to a fire alarm. The fire alarm had been set off by burned food in the microwave. The Fire Department checked the house and determined it to be safe. The fire panel was reset. Closed.
NOVEMBER 21
081302 10:56 AM. Theft: Lloyd Sports Center. A student reported theft of her wallet, SMU ID, transit card and money. Open.
081303 12:29 PM. Fire: 3000 Dyer. An officer observed fire to a cement truck's rear wheels. The officer deployed the fire extinguisher and extinguished the flames. University Park Fire Department responded and used water to cool down the brake drums. The fire was extinguished and Fire Department cleared the scene. Closed.
081306 9:00 PM. Failure To Leave Identification: Theology Parking Lot. A student reported another student struck his vehicle while he was backing out of a parking space and left the scene. Open.
081308 11:47 PM. Purchasing /Furnishing Alcohol to Minor: Sigma Phi Epsilon House. A student was referred to the Student Conduct Officer for furnishing alcohol to a minor. Closed.

081310 1:09 AM. Tampering with Fire Protection System: Dyer Court Lot. University Park Fire Marshall issued a student a University Park Citation for tampering with fire equipment. The student will be referred to the Student Conduct Officer for the violation. Closed.
081312 9:48 PM. Possession/Delivery of Drug Paraphernalia/Possession of Marijuana/Driving Under the Influence by a Minor: 3000 Binkley Ave. A student was arrested and booked into Highland Park jail for possessing marijuana. The student was issued a University Park Citation for possession of drug paraphernalia and Driving Under the Influence by a Minor. Closed.

081321 2:04 PM. Burglary of Vehicle: Dedman Parking Lot 3. An officer reported a broken window to a vehicle at this location. The owner of the vehicle later reported theft of a portable GPS navigation system. Open.

081335 10:33 PM. Fire Alarm: Dedman Life Sciences Bldg. University Park Fire Department responded and determined the alarm was set off by steam in the basement mechanical room. Closed.
