080587    12:12 PM.    Criminal Mischief:    Heroy Lot.    An officer reported a broken gate arm.    Open

080588      7:19 PM.      Failure To Leave Identification:    Dedman Parking Lot.    A student reported an unknown person struck her vehicle causing damage to her vehicle's rear bumper.      Open.

080591    2:34 PM.    Criminal Mischief:    3100 University Dr./University Parking Lot.    A student reported an unknown person damaged the driver's side mirror on her vehicle.     Open.

080594    1:52 AM.    Theft of Service/Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor:    Shuttles Hall.    A student was issued a JP Precinct 3 citation for failing to pay his fee for a taxi cab ride and underage drinking.    Closed.

080595    8:17 AM.    Burglary of a Motor Vehicle:        Dawson Service Center.    A staff member reported tools were stolen from his work vehicle.    Open.

080612    5:43 PM.    Burglary of Vehicle:    Park Cities Plaza.    A non affiliated person reported a vehicle was burglarized.    Open.

080613    1:24 PM.    Theft:    McFarlin Auditorium.    A student reported the theft of a cordless phone.    Open.

080618    4:44 PM.    Theft:    Commuter Lot.    A student reported theft of his parking decal which was affixed to his rear window.      Open.

080620    10:23 PM.    Possession of Fictitious License or ID:    Airline/Fondren.    A non-affiliated person was issued a University Park citation for possessing a fake ID.

080621    10:49 PM.  Driving Under The Influence by a Minor/Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor:  3400 Daniel.    An officer initiated a traffic stop with seven non-affiliated occupants in a vehicle.  The driver was in violation of driver's license restrictions. The driver's license was confiscated.  Six of the occupants were issued University Park citations for underage drinking and were released to their parent.  Closed.

080622    2:39 AM.   Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor/Off Campus-Criminal Incident:      Off Campus/3439 McFarlin.    A student was referred to the Judicial Officer for underage drinking.    Closed.

080625    6:53 PM.    Burglary of Habitation:    Shuttle Hall.    A student reported theft of money from his suit case from his secured dorm. Open.

080626    8:00 PM.    Criminal Attempt:    SMU Bookstore.    A student reported a suspicious person putting items in a backpack.  The officers made contact with a non-affiliated person at the bookstore.    The non-affiliated person could not provide the officer with an ID.  The Officer attempted to run a check of the subject with no verifiable information returned.  The Officer attempted to locate the original witness that observed him putting items in a backpack but had already left the store.  The officer issued the subject a Criminal Trespass Warning.  A staff member working the coffee shop found the backpack in the men's restroom.  The items were scanned and verified to be on the bookstore's inventory list.  Open

080627    6:29 PM.    Accident Involving Damage to Vehicle:    McFarlin Blvd./6300 Hillcrest.    Two non-affiliated persons were involved in a minor vehicle incident.  No injuries were reported.  Closed.

080628    7:06 PM.    Theft:    Paul Loyd Sports Center.    A staff member reported theft of a bike and laptop from her secured office.  Open.
