070990    4:13 AM:    Criminal Mischief - Class B ($50-$499):    Off Campus/6200 Central Expressway.    A window was broken at this location.    Open.

070991    8:51 AM:    Burglary:    Owens Fine Art Center.    A faculty member reported unauthorized entry into his office and a theft.    Open.

070992    11:23 AM:    Burglary of a Motor Vehicle:    Contractor Lot.    A contractor's vehicle was broken into and burglarized at this location.    Open.

070994    2:54 PM:    Theft - Class B ($50-$499):    Binkley Apartments.    A student reported the theft of her tire and bicycle rim.    Open.

070995    3:49 PM:    Possession of Fictitious License or ID:  Patterson Hall.  A wallet turned in to the police lost and found contained a counterfeit ID.  The wallet belongs to an SMU student.  The student will be referred to the Judicial Officer for the violation.  Closed.

070996    3:53 PM:    Theft - Class B ($50-499):  2933 Binkley Boulevard-Bike Rack.  A student reported someone stole her secured bicycle.  Open.

070998    5:03 AM:    Criminal Trespass:  Park Cities Plaza-Starbucks.  A non-affiliated man was arrested for violating a previous criminal trespass warning.  He was transported to HP Jail.  Closed.

071000    11:58 PM:    Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor:    Shuttles Hall.  A student will be referred to the Judicial Officer for underage drinking.  Closed.

October 3

071001    2:22 AM:    Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor:  6000 Bishop Boulevard.  A student was cited for underage drinking.  Closed.

071002    2:43 AM:    Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor:  6100 Bishop Boulevard.  A student will be referred to the Judicial Officer for underage drinking.  Closed.

071003    3:11 AM:    Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor:  McElvaney Hall.  A student will be referred to the Judicial Officer for underage drinking.  Closed.

071006    11:48 AM:    Assault (by contact):  Dedman Center.  A male student reported another male student assaulted him.  The assaulted student does not wish to pursue criminal charges.  The student suspect was identified and will be referred to the Judicial Officer.  Closed.

071008    6:02 PM:    Theft - Class B ($50-499):  Florence Hall.  A wireless microphone was stolen from a classroom.  The offense occurred between 09/27/07 and 10/02/07.  Open.

071009    5:40 PM:    Assault (by contact):  Dallas Hall.  Two students were assaulted by another student.  One of the students assaulted refused to prosecute.  Criminal charges may be filed by the other student.   The student suspect has been identified and will be referred to the Judicial Officer.  Closed.

071011    2:45 AM:    Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor:    3200 Dyer Street.  Two students will be referred to the Judicial Officer for underage drinking.  Closed.

071012    3:49 AM:    Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor/Alcohol Policy Violation:  Sigma Alpha Epsilon House.  Two students will be referred to the Judicial Officer for underage drinking.  The house will be referred to the Judicial Officer for having alcoholic beverages in a common area.

071017    3:04 AM:    Public Intoxication:  SMU Boulevard at Dublin Street.  A non-affiliated man was cited for being intoxicated in a public place.  Closed.

071018    2:59 AM:    Burglary:    McElvaney Hall.  Someone entered a student's unsecured room and stole a television.  Open.

071024    12:59 AM:    Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor:    Virginia Hall.    A student was referred to the Judicial Officer for underage drinking.    Closed.

071026    1:36 AM:    Public Intoxication/Escape:    SMU Blvd/Dublin Street.    A student was arrested and booked into the Highland Park Jail for being intoxicated in public and escaping from police custody.    Closed.

071030    3:33 AM:    Driving While Intoxicated 2nd:    3000 SMU Blvd./Dublin St.    A non-affiliated man was arrested and booked into the Highland Parking Jail for drinking and driving.    Closed.

071031    2:09 AM:    Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor:    Morrison/McGinnis Hall.    A student was referred to the Judicial Officer for underage drinking.    Closed.   

071032    9:12 PM:    Public Intoxication:    Mrs. Baird's Parking Lot.    A non-affiliated individual was arrested and booked into the Highland Park Jail for being intoxicated in public.    Closed.

071033    10:20 PM:    Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor:     Dawson Service Center.    A non-affiliated juvenile was released to his father for underage drinking.    Closed.

071037    5:13 PM:    Arson:    3048 McFarlin.  A staff member reported someone entered his residence and placed a burning toaster on his stove.  The UP Fire Marshall is investigating this case.  Open.

071038    6:32 PM:    Burglary of a Habitation:  Cockrell Hall.  A student reported someone stole jewelry from her room.  Open.
