Crime log case numbers do not run sequentially. The SMU Police Department assigns a case number for all reportable activities, both criminal and non-criminal. Only case numbers generated for criminal activity are listed in the crime log.
Crimes are in chronological order. The most recent crimes are at the bottom of the list.
July 1
070631 12:10 AM: Criminal Trespass/Failure to Identify/Warrant Arrest: 2900 block of Binkley Avenue. A non-affiliated man was arrested for Failure to Identify when he provided false information regarding his identity. The man will also be charge with Criminal Trespass and was transported to Highland Park Jail. Another non-affiliated man was arrested on an outstanding warrant and transported to Dallas County Jail.
070632 10:29 AM: Theft - Class B ($50-499): Moore Hall-East Bike Rack. A student reported his bicycle was stolen. Open.
070633 11:11 AM: Theft - Class A ($500-1499): Owens Art Center. Two portable radios were stolen from an unsecured office. Open.
