The staff member gave access to the group. The staff member was found in possession of drug paraphernalia and was issued a court citation. The three non-affiliated people were each issued criminal trespass warnings and escorted off campus. Closed.

050848 2:48 AM: Consumption of Alcohol by Minor/Disorderly Conduct: A non-affiliated man was seen urinating next to a car in the 2900 block of SMU Blvd. He is under the age of 21 and had been consuming alcoholic beverages. He was issued a court citation and released to his mother. Closed.

050850 12:41 AM: Criminal Trespass Warning: A non-affiliated man was found sleeping on a bench outside the Blanton Student Services Building. The man was identified and issued a criminal trespass warning. The man was escorted off campus. Closed.

050853 3:58 AM: Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor/Loud Noise Complaint: Officers responded to a noise complaint at the Binkley Apartments. Investigation revealed two non-affiliated men, who were the guests of a student, and another student had a verbal confrontation. One of the students had the odor an alcoholic beverage on his breath and is under 21 YOA. Judicial Referral.
050854 11:59 AM: Criminal Mischief: A student reported someone wrote the word "bitch" on the hood of her car while parked in the Theology Parking Lot. No permanent damage. Closed.
050855 8:10 PM: Criminal Mischief: A staff member reported that someone had cut two tires on her car while it was parked in the Fondren Parking Lot. Both tires had to be replaced. This occurred on July 6, 2005. Open.

050858 8:17 AM: Criminal Trespass Warning: Officers issued a criminal trespass warning to a non-affiliated man who had been seen inside the Bridwell Library. When questioned, he had no legitimate business on the campus and was escorted off campus and told not to return. Closed.

050861 2:57 AM: Assist Other Agency: SMU officers assisted Highland Park DPS with a felony stop at the 7-11 on Mockingbird Ave., south side of campus. HPDPS arrested four non-affiliated persons. Closed.

050866 12:05 AM: Criminal Trespass Warning: Officers made contact with a non-affiliated juvenile and another woman who were loitering in the Theology Lot. Neither of the two individuals had legitimate business on campus and were issued criminal trespass warnings. Closed.
050867 11:44 PM: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia/Public Intoxication/Criminal Trespass Warning: Officers made contact with two men sitting inside a vehicle in the 3000 block of SMU Boulevard. Investigation revealed the men had been drinking alcoholic beverages and smoking illegal drugs. Drug paraphernalia was found at the scene. One of the non-affiliated men was arrested for public intoxication/possession of drug paraphernalia and booked into the UP Jail. The other non-affiliated man was issued a court citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Closed.
050868 12:00 PM: Possession of a Fictitious License or ID: A wallet was found on a vehicle parked in an unauthorized area in front of Patterson Hall. A check of the wallet for identification revealed the wallet belonged to a student. A counterfeit ID was found in the wallet. Judicial Referral.

050870 12:11 AM: Criminal Trespass Warning: A student reported two suspicious men by the bicycle rack in the West Quad Lot. Officers made contact with men. Investigation revealed the men are not affiliated with the university and did not have legitimate business on campus. The men were issued criminal trespass warnings and escorted off campus. Closed.

050871 12:06 PM: Theft - Class B ($50-499): A student reported her laptop computer and Ipod were stolen from a room in McElvaney Hall. Open.

050872 12:25 AM: Criminal Trespass Warning: Officers issued criminal trespass warnings to three non-affiliated men riding trick bikes in the West Quad Lot area. The men left campus. Closed.
050873: 6:31 AM: Water Main Break or Water Leak: A water leak was reported in the 3100 block of Fondren Drive. Risk Management and CPPO were contacted. Closed. Closed.
050874 9:25 AM: Burglary of Vehicle: A student's car was burglarized while parked in the Meadows Museum Parking Garage. The front passenger window was shattered and various personal property was stolen. Open.
050876 12:04 PM: Criminal Mischief: A staff member reported that someone damaged a power cord to a power saw in Mary Hay Hall. Open.

050879 3:05 AM: Outstanding Warrants/Criminal Trespass Warning: Officers found a non-affiliated man asleep in a car in the West Quad Parking lot near Mary Hay Hall. The car stereo was playing very loudly and could be heard throughout the quad area. Investigation revealed the man had been consuming alcohol and had an arrest warrant outstanding from Irvin. The man also has a criminal record. He was arrested and booked into the Dallas County Jail and issued a criminal trespass warning. Closed.
050880 12:55 PM: Disturbance: Officers were called to quell a disturbance in the Hughes Trigg Student Center. Several juvenile boys were attending a science camp and causing a disturbance. The group calmed down after officers arrived and parents were contacted. Closed.
050881 1:50 PM: Criminal Mischief: A student reported someone damaged his car while parked in the West Quad parking lot. Officers observed scratch marks on the left side of the car. Closed.
050882 6:44 PM: Information Report: A staff member reported a power line down at the Women's Center. The power line fell on a staff member's car. Officers and UP Fire Department determined the line was a phone line and posed no danger. Closed.

050883 11:45 PM: Driving While Intoxicated: A student was arrested for DWI in the 3000 block of Dyer Street. The student was booked into the University Park Jail. Judicial Referral/Closed.

050884 8:52 AM: Disturbance (Non-Criminal): A caller reported people were loading sod into a truck near Ford Stadium. Officers contacted the three non-affiliated individuals. they said they were given permission to take the sod by SMU turf management staff. This was confirmed and the three were allowed to depart. Closed.

050885 4:32 PM: Sick or Injured Person: Officers and UP EMS responded to a medical call in Caruth Hall involving a staff member. Closed.
050886 3:59 PM: Fire Alarm: Officers and UPFD responded to a fire alarm in the Perkins Administration Building. Contractors working in a mechanical room accidentally activated a smoke detector. Closed.

050887 2:47 AM: Reckless Damage or Destruction/Motor Vehicle Accident/Assist Other Agency: Officers assisted Highland Park DPS with a vehicle accident in the 3100 block of Mockingbird Avenue involving a non-affiliated man. SMU property was damaged during the accident. Closed.

050888 12:22 AM: Water Main Break or Water Leak: A staff member reported while driving a SMU vehicle near the Doak Walker Plaza, he drove over a PVC sprinkler system pipe causing minor damage. Grounds personnel were notified and responded to the area to turn the water off. Closed.
050889 07:44 AM: Theft - Class C (Less than $50)/Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse: A staff member, in the Perkins Administration Building, reported someone stole her wallet from her unsecured purse, then used her credit cards to make unauthorized transactions. Open.
050890 11:36 AM: Assist Other Agency: Officers assisted UPPD with a motor vehicle accident in the 2900 block of Binkley Avenue involving two non-affiliated persons. Closed.
050891 5:00 PM: Criminal Trespass/Criminal Mischief: A staff member reported observing two people enter a vacant apartment in the University Gardens Apartment Complex on 07/19/05 at 9:30 PM. He checked the apartment on 07/20/05 and found someone caused damage to the apartment. Open.

050893 10:49 AM: Driving While License Suspended/Information Referral Report: A staff member reported a student left a dog tied-up to the outside of a vehicle in the University Parking Lot. Officers attended the dog until the student was located. Investigation revealed the student was driving with a suspended license. She will be sent to the Judicial Officer for both violations. 050894 2:10 PM: Fire Alarm: Officers and UP Fire Department investigated an alarm at 3104 Fondren. Contractors caused the alarm while working in the facility. Closed.

050897 3:15 PM: Burglary of Vehicle: Contractors reported five vehicles were burglarized while parked in the Contractor Parking Lot at 2900 SMU Blvd. Two of the contractors departed prior to police arrival. Time of occurrence is between 11:30 am and 3:30 pm. Open.

050899 10:29 AM: Fire/Sick or Injured Person: Officers, UPFD and UP EMS responded to a small kitchen fire and medical call at Moore Hall. The fire was caused by a student frying. chicken. Closed.
050900 10:50 AM: Fire Alarm: Officers responded to a fire alarm at 3104 Fondren Street. Contractors working in the building were cutting through a wall causing dust to circulate and activate the alarm. Closed.
050901 2:01 AM: Administrative Information Report: A staff member in Storey Hall reported receiving an unusual letter from a non-affiliated man. Open.

050903 2:23 AM: Outstanding Warrants: Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 2900 block of SMU Boulevard. Officers made contact with the non-affiliated driver who had outstanding warrants from UPPD and Irving PD. A UPPD officer responded and arrested the man. Closed.

050904 2:25 AM: Driving While Intoxicated: A non-affiliated man was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and taken to University Park jail after he was stopped in the Theology Parking lot. Closed.

050908 11:40 AM: Burglary of Vehicle: A non-affiliated woman reported her car was burglarized and items stolen on July 28, 2005 between 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM. The car was parked in the 3000 block of Binkley Ave. Open.

050909 2:24 AM: Outstanding Warrants: Officers stopped a non-affiliated man when he committed numerous traffic code violations. A check of the man revealed he did not have a drivers license and had an outstanding warrant issued by Dallas County for his arrest. The man was arrested and taken to the Dallas County Jail. An intoxicated passenger was taken home by a friend. Closed.
050910 8:55 AM: Criminal Trespass Warning: A non-affiliated man was reported going through dumpsters in the Binkley Apartments. The man was issued a trespass warning and escorted off campus. Closed.

050911 1:00 AM: Assist Other Agency: Officers located a stolen car behind the Fiji House, 3064 SMU Blvd. Dallas Police Department was contacted to recover the car. Dallas PD asked SMU PD to return the car to the owner. The owner was contacted and picked up the car. Closed.
050912 11:19 AM: Criminal Mischief: Officers found a car with three flat tires in the South Quad parking lot. There was also some damage inside the car. The non-affiliated owner did not want to file criminal charges. Closed.
050913 10:24 PM: Sick or Injured Person: Officers responded to a medical call in the 6200 block of Bishop Blvd involving a student. Closed.
