010481 2:20 AM: An officer was on Bishop Blvd putting up barricades when an approaching vehicle swerved toward him. The driver blew his horn, passed the officer, then accelerated while traveling north on Bishop Blvd. A patrol unit nearby heard the officer's call over the radio and stopped the vehicle. The driver told the officer he did not intentionally swerve toward the officer and stated he blew his horn to let the officer know he had lost control of his car. Officers detected the odor of alcohol however, could not determine if the suspect had been drinking. He was released. Closed

on the front lawn of the Beta house. He was intoxicated. The man is a
former student and house member who has had numerous alcohol related
offenses. He was issued a criminal trespass warning and was
arrested last year for trespassing on the campus. Due to an error, his past criminal information and criminal
trespass warnings were not available to officers.
No action was taken at the time and he was released to a house
member. A subsequent check revealed the man's criminal history. A
warrant will be issued for his arrest. The house will be

responded to a third floor room for a report of the smell of
marijuana. A student, who did not live in Shuttles Hall, was found in
