Blue Light Telephones

Emergency Blue Light phones are strategically located throughout the exterior areas of the campus, parking garages and parking lots. Upon pressing the call button, you will be in immediate contact with SMU Police Communication Center. Each time an emergency phone is activated an officer is dispatch to that location to investigate. To report an emergency inside a University building, use the campus phone and dial 911.  

Pressing the call button on a blue light phone is the same as dialing 911 and should be used for emergencies only. (Suspicious activities, crimes in progress or medical emergencies)
