Annual Security Report

SMU - ALL CAMPUSES

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, Southern Methodist University makes available the 2011 Annual Security Report for the SMU campuses. Also available is SMU President, R. Gerald Turner's letter addressed to members of the SMU community.

The Annual Security Report includes:

statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes which:
- occurred on each campus
- in certain off-campus buildings owned or controlled by SMU
- on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus
institutional policies concerning campus security, such as:
- policies concerning alcohol and drug use,
- crime prevention
- the reporting of crimes
- sexual assault and other matters
