Step 1: Trainee's supervisor submits a Help Desk Request  (Account Request Form - Administrative Access.SMU). This starts the approval process. ALL Access.SMU training requests MUST be approved by the appropriate Module Lead.

Step 2: Once the Account Request form is approved, you will be notified of the exact approved training classes to select below.

Note: Please DO NOT fill out the following registration form until the above steps have been completed.

Access.SMU prerequisite classes are offered approximately every two weeks.  The next available class will be held on:

November 21, 9:30am to 12:00 pm

 Registration closes 24 hours prior to the start of the session.  Without the Account Request form and Approval noted above, your registration will be delayed.

2 - in - 1

        Topics: FERPA and an overview of Access.SMU.

3 - in - 1

        Topics: FERPA, overview of Access.SMU, and viewing Student Records.

  • The 3-in-1 class is a pre-requisite for ALL other classes.
  • Classes with an * are online trainings.

  • You will be contacted for scheduling all other classes.
