The Report Time Audit allows you to view time entered and verify who entered it. In addition, it allows you to see which computer was used to enter time.
Steps:
Click the Time and Labor link.
Step 1Click the Reported Time Audit link.
Step 2Enter your employee's SMU ID in the EmplID field. For example, enter "12345678".
Step 3Click the Search button.
Step 4Enter the appropriate date into the Start Date field. For example, enter "7/19/10".
Step 5Enter the appropriate date into the End Date field. For example, enter "7/23/10".
Step 6Click the Get Rows button.
Step 7To enlarge the view of the Report Time Audit, click the minimize (-) button located on the top right of the menu.
Step 8The employee's reported time will be displayed. To view more information on a specific date, navigate to the appropriate row and click the History link.
Step 9The Audit User ID, Audit User Name and IP Address fields will allow you to see who reported time and from which computer.
Step 10Audit Actions allow you to determine:
•Add - The original time reported. This was the first entry added on a particular date.
•Old Values - Previously edited time. Old Values stores historical information of how time was edited. If several changes to an employee’s time has been made on a specific date there will be multiple rows listed as Old Values.
•New Values - This is the current time that is reported in the system.
Step 11The Audit Date and Time Stamp allows you to determine precisely when an edit was made.
Review the Date Under Report, Time Reporting Code and Quantity of hours for accuracy.
To verify if time has been approved, look under the Reported Status in the New Values Row. This will reflect the current status.
Step 12To exit, click the Sign out link.
