Running Transfer Evaluations

Concept   

Transfer evaluations are usually run to retrieve an overview of transfer credits from educational sources other than Southern Methodist University.

Steps:

  1. Click the SMU Custom Programs link.   Step 1
  2. Click the SMU Manage Student Records link.   Step 2
  3. Click the Transfer link.   Step 3
  4. Click the Find an Existing Value tab.   Step 4
  5. Click the Add a New Value link.   Step 5
  6. Type the following text into the Run Control ID field.

    Type "TRANSFEREVAL".   Step 6
  7. Click the Add button.   Step 7
  8. Type the SMU ID Number into the Student ID field.

    For example, type "18398020".   Step 8
  9. Click the Run button.   Step 9
  10. Click the Server Name list.   Step 10
  11. Select PSNT from the list.   Step 11
  12. Select the U_SRXFER checkbox.   Step 12
  13. Click the OK button.   Step 13
  14. Click the Process Monitor link.   Step 14
  15. Click the Refresh button.   Step 15
  16. When the Run Status indicates "Success," click the Details link.   Step 16
  17. Click the View Log/Trace link.   Step 17
  18. Select the U_SRXFER_0000000.PDF file.   Step 18
  19. Your Student Transfer Evaluation Report will open in Adobe format.

    Click the Maximize/Restore button.   Step 19
  20. The Student Transfer Evaluation Displays.   Step 20
  21. Click the Close button.   Step 21

You have successfully run a Student Transfer Evaluation.
