All fields are optional and can be overridden on any page in the system. The first three fields will already be populated for you with "SMETH" (standing for Southern Methodist University). These fields are Academic Institution, Career Group SetID and Facility Group SetID.
The other fields that may be of most benefit to you for advisement, enrollment, admissions, and academic scheduling functions include Academic Career, Academic Group, and Term.
