Orientation Leadership Institute

Who - The Office of New student Programs involves hundreds of students a year, but only a select few are chosen to serve on our year-long leadership team, Orientation Leadership Institute.

What - The Leadership Institute is a semester-long program with a hands-on approach to developing student leaders. Students selected to participate in this program will spend an equal amount of time discovering important principles of leadership, as well as applying the skills that they have learned.

When - Participation in the Leadership institute requires weekly meetings every Tuesday from 3:30-5 p.m. Combined with various outside activities and committee meetings, the average weekly time commitment is about eight hours. So, there's plenty of time left in the week. Members will be challenged to use and develop their leadership skills through leadership positions within the Office of New Student Programs.
